Adele Shuts Down Break-Up Rumors With Pics Of Herself And Boyfriend Rich Paul
Last week there were rumors that Adele and Rich Paul had split after the 40-year-old sports agent missed her 34th birthday to party with LeBron James in Miami. Back in January, there was talk that Adele cancelled her Vegas residency cuz of relationship drama, but the very next month she wore a giant diamond ring on that finger and played coy during an interview on The Graham Norton Show. Damn, there haven’t been this many conflicting reports since the day after the Titanic sank! (pause for laughter)
Cut to this week when Adele made her current relationship status crystal clear. First “an insider” told People that the couple was still together and they went to Napa Valley for dinner on Sunday. Then, last night Adele Instagrammed a bunch of pictures of her and Rich, with the caption “Time flies,” followed by kiss, star, and heart emojis. And you definitely don’t post that kind of content if you’re broken up! Errr, unless you’re Andrew Garfield’s ex.

An insider also confirms to PEOPLE that the singer and Paul — who have remained out of the public eye for the last few months — dined at Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch in Napa Valley on Sunday. “Adele is still seeing Rich. They are both very busy though,” says one source. “She is working on her residency and Rich is busy with his clients. They see each other when they can.”
OK, so they’re busy beavers and fit each other into their schedules when they can. Noted. Here’s Adele’s Instagram Carousel of Love, which seems to be celebrating a one-year anniversary (this timeline makes sense; the couple debuted their love at an NBA playoffs game last July, and word was they’d been dating for a couple of months):
So that first pic, where Adele and Rich are standing in front of the mansion holding two sets of keys… is that code for “we moved in together!” Or is Adele just trolling us? The second photo shows the couple taking over her favorite restaurant, McDonald’s, for Valentine’s Day. This is the first we’ve heard of this, so methinks those Mickey D’s employees signed some iron-clad NDAs. Also, I sort of feel bad. Last week I made fun of a South African guy who proposed to his girlfriend at a McDonald’s (she said no). But now it looks like he isn’t the only one who gets love-horny around Quarter Pounders, McNuggets, and broken ice cream machines. It’s time for me to open my mind to all the love languages of the world!
