Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, And Nicki Minaj Brought Their Double D Game To The Met Gala
The theme of last night’s Met Gala red carpet was Gilded Glamour, and some handled the theme by wrapping their titty balls in gold (see: Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B) while others didn’t really dress on theme (see: Nicki Minaj, who skipped last year’s Met Gala over its COVID-19 vaccination requirements, looking like a goth mess with Chicken Pox). But they all decided it was time to take everyone to Titty City, as they drew focus onto their respective racks to titillate onlookers during this year’s gala.
First, let’s start with Cardi. She skipped last year’s gala because she was carrying Offset’s latest support check, their newborn son Wave. Now she’s back once again after a few years of looking like a transient from the dodgy side of Narnia. For the 2022 Met Gala Cardi threw on a tight Versace gown she has come back in full effect wearing Versace as your new favorite Superhero: Disco D-Cups! And although this ensemble could easily be mistaken for a piece from the Solid Gold couture collection WWD reports the creation of this frock, overseen by Donatella Versace, was quite the undertaking.
The look was a halter dress made from embroidered jewelry and metal mesh with matching gold embroidery on the layered necklaces and bracelets in the brand’s signature gold chain.
According to a statement from Versace, it took 20 people and approximately 1,300 hours to complete the dress. Medusa medallions and the Versace Greca embellished in crystal decorate the chains.

Of course, Donatella slithered her way next to Cardi to writhe for a few photos as well.

Next up we have Houston’s favorite twerking horse Megan Thee Stallion, who followed Cardi’s lead by throwing on something Gold and low-cut (Or Glow-cut, because that’s a thing I just invented). People reports Megan decided to go with Cardi’s old favorite, Moschino, and arrived at the Met with Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott.

What I love most about this is that they both look like they’re being interviewed as Wakanda’s first interracial couple. In other words, I LOVE IT! And although Megan was a bit nervous about what she would be wearing at first, after Jeremy’s guidance she immediately informed him to transform her into a walking Oscar because Gold was the only option at that point:
The Grammy Award winner, 27, looked angelic in a pair of metallic golden wings draped over her shoulders at the 2022 Met Gala, where she donned a stunning head-to-toe gold look by Moschino on the red carpet.
“I feel like I’m gold anyway, and I feel like I came out here to give my skin, I came out here to give melanin,” Megan told PEOPLE of her look. “Gold looks beautiful on me.”
And finally, just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, you’re right. Because while everyone else was preparing for the Met Gala apparently Nicki was preparing for Bingo night at the local strip club. It also looks like she’s got some kind of disease. Maybe it’s her way of paying homage to her cousin’s friend’s swollen balls?

Nicki even took time out to say “Hello” to a journalist by promising to slap the shit out of him.

On a positive note, at least Nicki didn’t bring her sex offender husband. And another positive note! Nicki and Cardi were in the same room together and a shoe was not thrown. I think.
