Amanda Bynes Wants To Clarify Some Of The Things She Said About Her Fiance

Last week, Amanda Bynes took a very sharp sewing pin and popped the balloon of hopeful optimism that was floating above her personal life, when she responded to reports that the police were involved in a messy domestic situation between herself and her fiance, Paul Michael, by accusing Paul of abusing Schedule II drugs and hiding salmon under his mother’s bed. It was the kind of accusations that, when combined together, created a three-headed hydra of WTF, and definitely required a comprehensive explanation. Amanda has decided to do just that, and she’d like to clarify a few of the accusations she made against Paul. Some confirmations, some corrections.
On Thursday morning at around 2:30, police were reportedly called to Paul and Amanda’s home, after Paul allegedly claimed that he and Amanda had gotten into a verbal altercation that began with Amanda accusing Paul of abusing crack, and ended with Paul telling police that Amanda had taken his Adderall and had kicked Paul out of the house. Amanda has come forward and is letting everyone know that she was just a tad misinformed when she made those claims. Not long after the news broke of Amanda and Paul’s messiness, she posted a follow-up Instagram post (that has since been deleted, just like the first), where she says that Paul took a drug test and is currently clean. TMZ writes that on Friday night, Amanda hit up Instagram once again, and wrote a lengthy update on the situation that paints Paul in a much kinder light. via TMZ:
Amanda jumped on Instagram late Friday night and wrote, “To clarify: I said what I said about Paul relapsing because he did. I don’t know when he got clean and because of the disturbing porn he was watching, I assumed he must be on drugs now. Also Paul did vandalize his mom’s home 2 weeks ago.”
She wasn’t done … “His brother Mark called the cops on him but Paul left before they got there. When I saw the mom and son porn on Paul’s phone, I got upset and kicked him out. When he left I was worried he would vandalize my home because he still had the keys. That’s why I called the police.”
Amanda added that she shouldn’t have accused Paul of using, because he’d been clean for two weeks. As for the “disturbing porn” part, Amanda says that Paul informed her that he wasn’t looking at incest porn and was simply searching for “MILFs,” and that the search engine likely auto-filled with the undesirable results.
So that’s that. Except it might not be, because according to TMZ, Amanda’s friends and family got worried for her after all this went down. Sources tell TMZ that those close to Amanda believe Paul might have an issue with anger and that they’re concerned for Amanda’s safety. According to those sources, Paul’s alleged ability to “fly off the handle” might make for an unhealthy living situation for the two of them. TMZ says that Amanda and Paul reconciled not long after Paul called the police.
Even with Amanda’s clarification, this situation still feels very messy. Amanda was compelled to kick Paul out, and that’s pretty much the gold standard for a situation to be technically classified as just a bit toxic. Even without the allegations of crack, incest porn, and rotting fish! Although I’m sure that after Amanda went ahead and downplayed the whole crack and incest porn thing, Jesus’ ears perked up, and he messaged Amanda on Instagram, offering to take the metaphorical wheel, or even calling a metaphorical Uber driven by one of the dancing lobsters, if needed.
