It was finally Khloe Kardashian’s turn to testify in court against Blac Chyna, during Chyna’s ongoing $108 million lawsuit against Khloe, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Rob Kardashian, and the ringleader of this trash town circus, Kris Jenner. Khloe took the stand yesterday, as well as Kim, and they both spoke about how they felt regarding Chyna and Rob’s relationship, as well as their mess of a reality show, 2016’s Rob & Chyna. Chyna claims the Kardashians did everything in their power to make sure she didn’t get a second season. And if Khloe’s testimony means anything, well, Chyna might feel a little vindicated. Because Khloe told the court that she hated her brother’s messy antics with Chyna so much, Khloe threatened to stop filming Keeping Up With The Kardashians over it.
So far, Kylie Jenner has testified that Chyna tried to kill Rob, and threatened to assault Kylie. Kris Jenner testified that Chyna threatened to kill Kylie and that Rob’s thing with Chyna was “rocky” from the get-go. And Chyna has testified that she only pointed a gun at Rob’s head and wrapped an iPhone cord around his neck in a playful way. Not to mention the hours of Rob & Chyna footage that show just how toxic those two were together. Kris’ boyfriend Corey Gamble also testified that he witnessed Chyna hit Rob with a rod-like object before hitting Rob with an iPhone cord. Corey testified that’s when he stopped Chyna’s beating of Rob. So it’s been pretty well established that Rob and Chyna weren’t exactly the healthiest partners for each other.
TMZ reports that the latest facial edition of Khloe appeared in court yesterday. Khloe told the court her alleged truth, which is that any interference in her brother’s disaster of a relationship with Chyna was simply the work of an older protective sister looking out for her baby brother. But also…Khloe was looking out for the Karda$hian’s bottom line, too.
During Khloe’s testimony, she said wanted to protect her brother from the “outrageous/chaotic/violent behavior” stemming from his relationship with Chyna, adding … “we were all considering not being a part of such toxicity.”
Alleged emails Khloe had sent were also presented, one read, “We are even considering not moving forward with our show if theirs continues, that’s how strongly we feel this is damaging to our family” another email to E!, Khloe mentioned the Rob and Chyna’s relationship was potentially hurting the family brand.
Khloe wanted to clear up one thing. She didn’t deny she sent those emails, but she says that when she wrote that ultimatum about not going forward with KUWTK if Rob and Chyna continue, she meant Rob and Chyna the couple, not Rob & Chyna the TV series. So that kind of pokes a hole in Chyna’s argument that the Kardashians were responsible for getting the plug pulled on Rob & Chyna, in the event that’s the whole truth (but again, see burning Bible above).
As for Kim’s testimony, TMZ reports that Kim kind of played clueless about the questions she as asked, responding that she couldn’t remember details of certain conversations. But she did confirm one detail that was presented in court. According to one message sent by Kim, Kim claimed that Chyna “could never be on her show.” Kim said that she sends a lot of voice memos, and that was likely a mistake, which should have described KUWTK as “our show” instead. Good save, Kim!
But back to Khloe, who delivered much more compelling testimony yesterday. Khloe claimed that she and the rest of her family considered not participating in Rob and Chyna’s wreck of a personal life. But it should be noted that Khloe, as well as many members of her family, did appear on Rob & Chyna, like when a whole episode centered around Khloe’s birthday party.
So technically, the family brand was willing to participate in this fast-moving train wreck, until they weren’t. But how in the world did everyone in that courtroom not get tossed out like Tokyo Toni after Khloe claimed she was concerned Chyna’s behavior might be damaging the Kardashian brand? Everyone should have been held in contempt for laughing too loud and long at that claim from Khloe. Unless Khloe immediately followed it up by saying, “…because it says right here on page one of the Kardashian Family Brand Identity Book that it’s only cute when it’s one of us that’s shamelessly exploiting our toxic relationship drama for TV ratings, okay?”
