Brad Pitt Reportedly Thinks That Angelina Jolie Is Turning His Kids Against Him

Everyone knows that inflation has drastically driven up the prices of regular everyday things, like groceries (seriously, why do I need to take out a mortgage for Doritos now), or larger-ticket items, like appliances. Well, summer is coming up, and if you’re in the market, but aren’t sure how you’re going to pay for that new air conditioner you’ve got your eyes on, Brad Pitt might have a solution for you. Just ask Angelina Jolie to come to stand by your window. Because according to sources close to Brad, he believes that Angelina has been actively, and effectively, icing Brad out of their children’s lives.

Most recently, Brad decided to sue Angelina over the sale of her shares from Château Miraval, while Angelina might be suing the FBI in order to get her hands on the records from that alleged private jet situation involving Brad, Angelina, and the kids back in 2016. It seemed like the ongoing drama surrounding Angelina and Brad’s cutthroat custody battle had simmered down for a while, but it looks like someone went ahead and pulled that pot from the back burner to one of the front ones set to high gas. Because they’re back at it again. Or at least, someone close to Brad has gone and began stirring that pot once more. According to a source who spoke to UsWeekly, Brad believes that Angelina has been working his own kids against him, in the hopes that when their custody battle is finally settled, the kids will simply choose not to have a relationship with their dad.

The 58-year-old Moneyball actor “has been lamenting to pals” about the ongoing legal drama, a source exclusively reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly. Pitt thinks the 46-year-old philanthropist “will never agree to joint custody and is going to run out the clock until the kids are 18,” the insider claims.

The Oklahoma native is under the impression that his ex-wife hopes the children “will want nothing to do with” him once they are of age, per the source. However, the insider tells Us, “Brad will not give up the fight.”

And just like that, that story about Brad allegedly believing that he and Angelina could put all this animosity behind them one day, vanishes into a cloud of smoke, and a whisper that sings, “Come on, you didn’t really believe they’d move on in a healthy way, did you?

Brad and Angelina are still fighting over four of their six kids – Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox Jolie-Pitt. Maddox Jolie-Pitt aged out of the custody fight a while ago, whereas Pax Jolie-Pitt recently exited the fight, after turning 18 in November. Zahara will be the next Jolie-Pitt child to potentially age out of this custody fight before it’s finally over (she turns 18 next January). Brad was temporarily awarded a 50-50 custody split with Angelina Jolie, but her lawyers argued that the judge who granted that judgment was too close to Brad’s legal team, and so they’re starting from scratch with a new lawyer.

Brad might have the right instincts that the clock is going to run out before he and Angelina settle this custody situation once and for all because it has literally been nearly eight years, so what’s eight more? But what that source doesn’t specify is exactly how that evil sinister schemer Devilina is turning the kids against their dad. The source just says that Brad thinks Angelina is plotting against his best interests. Who knows? Devilina’s Advocate here, but maybe Angelina doesn’t actually talk shit about Brad around the kids, and she just saves that for her lawyers. Then again, something tells me her lawyers have probably reached the point where they’ve asked her to start journaling those thoughts, for the sake of their own emotional sanity.
