Emma Hernan Of “Selling Sunset” Says That Ben Affleck Slid Into Her Raya DMs Before He Got Back With JLo, And He Responded To That
Even though Ben Affleck is currently intertwined in the greatest love story in the history of greatest love stories with his eternal soulmate and fiancee Jennifer Lopez, we’re still hearing about his past Raya adventures. Because when you’re a part of the couple that redefines the meaning of love with every pap stroll, there’s also a jealous trick trying to take you down. Enter Emma Hernan of Selling Sunset who said on her reality show that B.J. (Before JLo), Ben slid into her DMs on the dating app Raya and tried to get a Dunkin’ date with her. It’s shrug-worthy news that is the opposite of scandalous since Ben was single at the time and he’s admitted to using Raya before. But Ben’s rep decided that this nothing tidbit was big enough to interrupt their weekend for, because they put out a statement, saying that Ben hasn’t been on Raya in years, thankyouverymuch. That made “sources close to Emma” tell TMZ that she’s not lying. Honestly, this is the kind of riveting mystery that will bring Detective La Toya out of retirement!
During a scene between Emma and Chrishell Stause on season 5 of Selling Sunset, they talked about using Raya, the dating app for richies, fancies, celebrity types, and star fuckers, and 30-year-old Emma said that 49-year-old Ben tried to pick her ass up “right before” he got back with JLo but she never went out with him. via People:
Hernan, 30, claimed to costar Chrishell Stause that she matched with Affleck while discussing the exclusive, high-profile dating app during the episode “Do You Think We’re Friends?,” which dropped Friday with the rest of the season.
“Remember when Ben Affleck went viral because he sent some girl…” Stause, 40, said as Hernan chimed in: “He may or may not have been texting me.”
“He may or may not have asked to grab coffee a few times,” she explained, adding: “I didn’t go.”
“You could’ve foiled Bennifer! He was on the hunt,” Stause joked to Hernan, who claimed: “Right? It was right before that. So, maybe that wouldn’t have happened. We have the Boston connection. So, that was his opening pick-up line.”
The “viral” moment that Chrishell is talking about is the one where Ben sent “influencer” and actress Nivine Jay the most horrifying front-facing camera plea since The Blair Witch Project after she unmatched him on Raya. Nivine Jay then decided to share it with the world last year:

Nivine Jay never said when Ben sent her that video, but if you ask Ben’s rep, it was YEARS AGO. Because Ben’s rep responded to Emma Hernan’s DM-sliding claims by saying that he hasn’t fucked with Raya in a while. via People:
“Raya has confirmed that he has not been an active member for several years,” a rep for Affleck tells PEOPLE.
And those “sources close to Emma” tell TMZ that he never denied hitting her up and only said that he hasn’t been on Raya in years. Those sources add that Ben messaged Emma in 2019 (and that was even before BenAna) which I guess was “years ago.” But I am surprised that Ben’s rep didn’t say, “Ben hasn’t had time for Raya in several years because all of his free time was spent at his Bennifer 1.0 altar, praying for his true love Jennifer Lopez to return to him as her beautiful 2010 song to him Dear Ben played in the background”
