Jaden Smith Is Getting Roasted For Saying He’d Rather Hang Out With Adults Than Have To Talk To Kids His Own Age
Ask any average teen who they’d rather spend an evening with, and I think you’d be hard-pressed to find a teen who replies, “Gosh, there’s nothing I love more than listening to Karen and Frank discuss their current HOA issues with lawn care and trash removal.” Of course, that’s most kids, but not Jaden Smith. Because Jaden recently admitted that there was nothing that churned his stomach than the sound of a silly child his own age asking him to converse in an open dialogue. Jaden’s mature mind and precious time was spent waxing poetic with the grow-ups around him.
Jaden Smith is currently 23 years old and he’s a deep soul who needs deep conversations with people, and according to Jaden, during an appearance on the BigBoyTV YouTube channel last week, his peers and their unsophisticated brains just weren’t cutting it. via Page Six:
“I am very happy that I spent my childhood with more adults than I did with kids my own age, because I was picking up more things from adults than I were [sic] from kids my own age.” He then went on to imitate the voice of a young person, claiming they like to say things like, “Look at my phone! Selfie.”
“I’m just, like, ‘Dude, like, oh my God. Can we talk about the political and economic state of the world, right now?’ Can we talk about what’s going on in the environment? Can we talk about other things?”
He added that while he does enjoy some youthful things, like playing loud songs, “flexing,” and jumping in the club (all his words), he isn’t “satisfied at, just, like, a party.” It’s too bad Jaden doesn’t prefer the company of psychics, because at least he could have seen what happened next. After Jaden’s interview went up last week, and people heard Jaden’s heavy implication that kids his age are idiots, they promptly began to crack jokes at Jaden’s expense.

My favorite part of The Pursuit of Happiness was when young Jaden Smith said to Will, "Father the socioeconomic state of New York City will not permit you to maintain a baseline lifestyle as a door to door saleman, you should attempt to join an investment firm instead." pic.twitter.com/9N6dbxyYs2

Jaden is still young, so there is a chance he’ll get a bit more grown and cringe at how he has perceived everyone his own age is literally the cringe-iest, most insecure way possible. But until then, I hope he strongly considers following in the footsteps of his mother Jada Pinkett Smith, and younger sister Willow Smith, and launch his version of Red Table Talk, called Jaden Smith’s Adult Intelligence Exchange (NO SELFIES). They can talk about whatever advanced-brained idea pops into Jaden’s head, from the political state of the world to the economic state of the world. No discourse is too complex or relevant, except for talk about Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars. The adults are tired of that one.
