Alec Baldwin Responded To People Asking Why He And Hilaria Baldwin Keep Having Children
In the last eight years, Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Baldwin have popped out six, count em’, SIX little baby Baldwinitos. And two weeks ago the couple announced there was a seventh on the way. The obvious question on everybody’s lips is: WHY? Why keep adding to your brood when you have so much other disastrous shit going on? Are these two trying to qualify for a reality show on TLC España? Well, Alec took to Instagram to explain. He posted a video of his youngest child, 13-month-old Marí Lucía Victoria, giggling and being very cute. In the caption, Alec writes, “People ask why. This is why. Being a parent is the ultimate journey.” Dios mío! That’s the fewest amount of words Alec has ever barfed up on social media. Is this… growth?

64-year-old Alec and 38-year-old Hilaria’s other kids are Carmen, 8, Rafael, 6, Leonardo, 5, Romeo, 3, and Eduardo “Edu”, 1. And don’t forget Alec’s oldest daughter with ex-wife Kim Basinger, 26-year-old Ireland Baldwin.
And, sure, Marí Lucía is very cute, but I don’t think an adorable baby video explains why a sexagenarian born 5 years before JFK’s assassination insists on continuing to churn out children. Like, isn’t Alec a vegan environmentalist? I’d have thought he’d be super concerned about overpopulation. Or maybe his wife’s culture supersedes all that (she’s from Boston).
