Kim Kardashian’s Advice To Business Women: Get Your Ass Up And Work
Kim Kardashian and her family have a new Hulu show that will premiere next month, The Kardashians. It’s a series that Kim and her sisters worked very hard to secure (aka Hulu rolled up to Kris Jenner’s house one day, popped open a briefcase stuffed full of money, and they all clapped with glee). Not to mention their previous show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, which was secured thanks to plenty of hard work (yes, hard work. Have you ever operated a hand-held video camera while high on ecstasy?). So Kim knows a thing or two about the subject of work ethic. And according to the millionaire reality TV star-turned-billionaire reality TV star, there’s a very simple recipe for success. Step one: remove your ass from whatever surface it is currently seated. Step two: get that fucking ass to work. Simple!
Kim gave her advice to women in business during an interview with Variety to promote her family’s new show. Speaking of family, you might be wondering how a person who was born to a rich, well-connected, socially-established Los Angeles family who has never experienced a single moment of poverty and has had everything handed to them, has the audacity to finger-point and shame women who aren’t working “hard.” And that would be the correct response if the person in question had any degree of self-awareness or literacy level needed to read the fucking room.
Kim believes she worked her ass off to get to where she is, and so now she wants to pass on the secret to her success. Essentially, don’t be a lazy asshole.
“I have the best advice for women in business,” Kim says. “Get your fucking ass up and work. It seems like nobody wants to work these days. You have to surround yourself with people who want to work…It’s still a job and it’s still really hard. Success is never easy. If you put in the work, you will see results.”

Kim’s kondescending and klueless advice got her roasted by the internet. And former employees piped up to claim that the Kardashians expected them to work their fucking asses off for free.
I worked my little college ass off for free for Kimberly. So I better get some addendum in here saying “except Celene, she was amazing” https://t.co/qbXBuQcbx8

I was an editor on the Kardashian apps in 2015 in LA, worked days nights & weekends, could only afford groceries from the 99 Cents Only Store, called out “sick” more than once bc I couldn’t put gas in my car to get to the office, & was reprimanded for freelancing on the side ❤️ https://t.co/mzvnTomjS3

I totally get where Kim’s coming from. If you want to be a successful businesswoman like Kim, you have to work! It’s called effort, people. Get up at the crack of dawn and make sure your team of nannies is taking care of all your kids. Then ensure your assistant has laid out your look for the day and that your glam squad is ready to uncanny valley all the parts not covered by clothing. Blindly assume all the labor in your home is being done by someone else. Get in your car and tell your driver it’s time to go to the office for your daily 90-minute pre-lunch check-in. Wait, did you just complain about how you were going to get to work because of the unreasonably high gas prices that you can barely afford because you make six cents over minimum wage? Ugh I swear, nobody wants to work these days.
