Amanda Bynes Is Getting Her Heart Face Tattoo Removed

Two weeks ago Amanda Bynes followed in Britney Spears’ footsteps and filed to end her nine-year conservatorship, which her parents got following her very tumultuous 2013. Then, three days ago, 35-year-old Amanda resurfaced on Instagram to thank her fans for their love and support and remind them that her court date is on the horizon. And yesterday she hopped back on the app to reveal that she’s in the process of getting her heart face tattoo removed.
Amanda debuted the face tattoo back in December 2019, a couple months before she introduced us to her then-fiancée, Paul Michael. The couple is still together, but we’re not sure if they’re engaged (they called it off back in March 2020) or just BF/GF. Here’s Amanda’s Instagram video showing off her disappearing face tattoo:
In another video, Amanda revealed that she’s also said goodbye to her “ombré hair” (the purple-grayish situation she was sporting during her first Instagram post):
Amanda’s hair looks good, and, as you can see from the video, her face tattoo is fading. But it’s still clearly a heart. Once the process is over, will the tattoo be totally gone, or will Amanda be stuck with a faint heart scar for the rest of her life? If it’s the latter, and Amanda wants to dip her toes back into the acting game (Moody’s Point reboot!), she shouldn’t worry. Hollywood makeup artists can do wonders.
