46-Year-Old Casey Affleck And His 23-Year-Old Girlfriend Caylee Cowan Might Be Engaged
Casey Affleck may be engaged to his girlfriend of a few months, actress Caylee Cowan. Last week the couple were papped at a Lakers game and on Sunday they were spotted leaving a restaurant in Beverly Hills. Both nights Caylee was wearing a sparkly rock on her ring finger. Neither has confirmed the news, but a ring plus pap attention usually equals engaged. Speaking of math, Casey is 46, and Caylee is 23. Yep, exactly half his age. At least until March 19, when she turns 24. Then she’ll be practically half his age, which just isn’t as dramatic. So get your digs in now.

If Casey and Caylee get hitched, this will be Casey’s second marriage. His first was to Summer Phoenix, sister of Casey’s I’m Still Here partner in yuck, Joaquin Phoenix. Summer and Casey started dating in 2000, got married in 2004, and finally divorced in 2017. They have two sons, 17-year-old Indiana and 14-year-old Atticus.
Casey posted a gushing Instagram tribute to Caylee in late January. In the caption, he wrote that the two met a year ago, and “a few months ago, I got smart.” Meaning, they only started dating recently. Hmmm, did his change of heart have anything to do with Caylee’s big switch from her regular Marilyn blonde to intellectual brunette?? He shares that to celebrate knowing each other for a year, the couple went to a local bakery and cooked twelve loaves of bread.
