The horrible situation in Ukraine has led to some celebrities making embarrassing moves like Carmen Carrera’s thirst trap. But some celebrities are doing things that actually help. No offense to Carmen’s photos which… showed how hot she is? Mila Kunis and hubby Ashton Kutcher are matching donations of up to $3 million in a new call to action through one of America’s biggest healthcare providers, GoFundMe, and the companies Flexport.org and Airbnb.

Mila was born in Ukraine in 1983 and came to America in 1991. People says that in a new Instagram video, Mila and Ashton ask their followers to please donate what they can to their GoFundMe to help give relief supplies and housing to refugees and people on the ground in Ukraine through Airbnb and Flexport. Mila explains that she’s “never been more proud to be a Ukrainian,” and Ashton chimes in with, “And I’ve never been more proud to be married to a Ukrainian.” via People:

“The events that have unfolded in Ukraine are devastating. There is no place in this world for this kind of unjust attack on humanity,” Kunis continued.

…”While we are witnessing the bravery of Ukrainians, we are also bearing witness to the unimaginable burden of those who have chosen safety… Through GoFundMe, this fundraiser will provide an immediate impact on refugee and humanitarian aid efforts. The fund will benefit Flexport.org and Airbnb.org, two organizations who are actively on the ground providing immediate help to those who need it most,” the caption continued.

“Flexport.org is organizing shipments of relief supplies to refugee sites in Poland, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Moldova. Airbnb.org is providing free, short-term housing to refugees fleeing Ukraine. Standing with Ukraine means supporting Ukrainians.”

“Ashton and I have decided to match up to $3 million worth of donations to Airbnb.org and Flexport.org through GoFundMe.org in an effort to raise $30 million,” Kunis also said in the video.

…”Today, I am a proud Ukrainian. While my family came to the United States in 1991, I was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine in 1983,” Kunis wrote in the GoFundMe campaign page’s description. “Ukrainians are proud and brave people who deserve our help in their time of need.”

Here’s their Instagram video:

So far the GoFundMe has raised over $3,600,000. So Ashton and Mila are about to cut a check for $3 million! Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds also recently agreed to match donations, up to $1 million, to help displaced Ukrainians.

The first name on the donations list is probably Demi Moore. Mila probably called her up like, “It’s time to cash in that favor for getting you an AT&T commercial. That paycheck is going to Ukraine, baby!”
