Julia Fox Denies Interviewing To Be Kanye West’s Girlfriend But Calls Him The Ultimate “Stunt Queen”

32-year-old Julia Fox is hot off of her relationship with 44-year-old Kanye West where she spent her time phoning publications to talk about her dates. But Julia told The New York Times that she actually only spent a total of 15 days with Kanye so clearly she had to maximize all the stunting and get as much exposure as humanly possible. Julia admits that dating Kanye for a minute was good exposure for her but adds, “Believe it or not, Kanye’s not the most interesting thing that’s ever happened to me.” I’m gonna choose the “or not” option. And even though Julia denies the rumors that she was hired to play the part of Kanye’s dress-up doll girlfriend to make officially single Kim Kardashian jealous, she has hailed him as the stunt queen of stunt queens.

Julia and Kanye first got together on New Year’s Eve and she announced their break-up on Valentine’s Day. And while the internet is only talking about Julia Fox because she “dated” Kanye, she claims she’s not paying attention to what the internet is saying. via People:

“It’s not real,” said Fox. “It’s only happening on the internet. I’m not actively engaging with it. I don’t feel it. I’m still 1,000 percent me. Nothing’s changed, except, I will say, having been around Kanye was like a crash course on how to be famous.”

And Julia wants us to think that she also wanted out of her thing with Kanye, who she calls a “big personality” (read: annoying and difficult):

“I tried my best to make it work. I already had a jam-packed life. How do I fit this really big personality into this already full life? It just wasn’t sustainable. I lost like 15 lbs. in that month.”

When asked if they were “exclusive”, Fox said, “I don’t think so,” before denying they dated for attention. “I mean, there were definitely elements of it that were real.” The star also brushed off claims she interviewed to be West’s girlfriend as “ridiculous,” noting that she never signed a nondisclosure agreement.

Even though Julia denies the rumor that she interviewed to be Kanye’s girlfriend, she says that it felt like he cast her in the role of his girlfriend:

“I don’t think those words ever came out of my mouth, actually. It definitely felt like I was his girlfriend. But it also felt like I was being cast in the role of his girlfriend–and he was casting me. He was the orchestrator of it all. It really did feel like a movie.”

As for if Julia thinks Kanye will stalk her like he stalks Kim, she says that he better not try that with her. Um, I’m pretty sure that Kanye already forgot what Julia’s name is.

“I don’t think that he would want to open that door with me,” she said. “If you come for me, I’m going to come for you. And I’m really good at coming for people. I just go straight for the jugular. I don’t think he would be dumb enough to do that.”

Instead, Fox, who said she met West when she was “ready to re-enter society” after welcoming son Valentino in 2020, saluted him for the “priceless exposure” he gave her, specifically in the fashion industry.

“Look at the big picture,” she said. “That was amazing for me.”

Julia still hopes that one day she’ll “eventually surpass the Kanye narrative.” Doubtful.

I don’t know if I believe just yet that Julia Fox isn’t riding this Kanye West story into the ground for attention. I think she needs to do a few more interviews about how this isn’t for attention before I really grasp how little she wants attention.
