Shanna Moakler Announces She’s Pregnant A Week After Her Ex Was Arrested For Domestic Violence

Shanna Moakler is a person who is a magnet for drama, which is honestly a character trait that made her the perfect candidate for the latest season of Celebrity Big Brother, aka ground zero for messiness. But this might actually be more chaos than the average person in drama management could ask for. Exactly one week ago, 46-year-old Shanna issued a statement confirming that her 28-year-old boyfriend Matthew Rondeau, had been arrested for felony domestic violence. Now, she’s confirming that she took a pregnancy test that turned up positive.

Matthew was arrested last Thursday morning and his arrest came after he posted a messy, rage-y video to social media, in which he alleged that Shanna had been cheating on him, including with her neighbor, and that it was over between himself and that “fucking specimen of a fucking human.” Very healthy stuff! After Matthew’s arrest, Shanna was granted a temporary protective order against Matthew, and she released the following statement via her rep, saying, “I wanted to let everybody know that I’m okay and thank you for your love and support. I’m surrounded by my family and friends.” Apparently, she wasn’t kidding when she said she was surrounded by family. She has been hanging out 24/7 with the latest person to call her family. via People magazine:

The former Playmate, who is already a mother of three, exclusively confirms to PEOPLE that she is expecting a fourth child. The announcement comes just days after her ex-boyfriend, Matthew Rondeau, was arrested for felony domestic violence.

“I took a pregnancy test and it is positive,” Moakler, 46, says in a statement. “This has been a very difficult week, but I’m taking everything day by day.”

This will be Shanna’s fourth child. She shares a 22-year-old daughter Atiana De La Hoya, with Oscar De La Hoya, and had two kids during her marriage to Travis Barker, 18-year-old Landon, and 16-year-old Alabama. Shanna and Matthew had been dating off and on since 2020.

Shanna hasn’t said how far along she is. All that we know for sure is that Shanna Moakler is about to be a mom for the fourth time, in the same seven-day span that her ex was sitting in a jail cell with bail set at $50,000.

Shanna’s ex-husband is currently engaged to Kourtney Kardashian. There’s no doubt that Kris Jenner saw this situation with Shanna and her eyes lit up and she probably slid into Shanna’s DMs. “You know, I didn’t much care for you when you were talking trash about my daughter. But now that you’re in a highly desirable, messy situation that could be exploited for reality TV profit and attention? Well, that’s a whole other story.
