Dax Shepard Revealed That He Used To Date Ashley Olsen

As we are frequently reminded, Dax Shepard has a podcast. And on the most recent episode of Armchair Expert, he dropped the bombshell that he dated Ashley Olsen “15 or 16 years ago.” Math tells us this was around 2006/2007, when a now 47-year-old Dax would have been in his early thirties, and 35-year-old Ashley was 19 or 20. She also would have been blonde back then, so clearly Dax has a thing for blondies measuring five-foot-one-inch (see: wife Kristen Bell).
Dax said that Ashley is “just the most wonderful person, she’s fantastic,” adding that when they first met, she was working on developing her clothing line, The Row, with sister Mary-Kate Olsen, via Us Weekly:
“When we were dating, it was when she was putting all her energy and focus into launching that in a big way,” he continued. “So, I was able to see her meet with design teams and, like, run her s–t and she handled her [business], and it’s very impressive.”
Shepard continued: “[Ashley and Mary-Kate are] sarcastic. I would imagine, on the surface, that’s a pretty weird pairing but she’s super funny, and sarcastic and intelligent. And they are major f–king bosses.”
“I luckily never saw that show,” he said. “Because I probably wouldn’t have been able to be attracted to Ashley if I knew her as a baby. I just saw her at a party and was kind of thunderstruck by her beauty.”
Ashley has been in a relationship with 33-year-old artist Louis Eisner since 2017, and engagement rumors have been swirling since 2019. But Ashley never publicly commented on their relationship status. And that, my dear Daxwell, is why you two were doomed from the start. The Olsens keep their shit tight, and you and Kristen Bell can’t even do a silent fart without turning it into an Instagram Story. Now zip it about the Olsens, or Ashley will machete your ass:
