The Uber Eats Driver Snoop Dogg Complained About May File A Lawsuit Against Him

What’s more gangster than being a multi-millionaire rapper who’s been tapped to half-heartedly crip walk, while high off their ass, on America’s biggest stage, earning millions of additional dollars, and puts a vulnerable, poorly paid gig worker on blast to their millions of Instagram followers because their late-night munchies didn’t arrive in a timely manner? It’s a riddle as American as a McDonald’s Apple Pie that’s been sitting under the heat lamp for too long which, ironically, was probably part of Snoop Dogg’s missing Uber Eats order from January. And the answer to that riddle is Sayd. That’s right, Sayd, the Uber Eats driver who is planning to file a lawsuit against Snoop for sharing his personal information and photo on Instagram to Snoop’s 70 million followers, is more gangster than Snoop. Snoop’s a punk.

In his video complaint, in which he shared Sayd’s first name, picture, and license plate number, Snoop said “Motherfucker from fuckin’ Uber Eats didn’t bring my fuckin’ food,” “Talking about he arrived. ‘This is not a safe place.’ Punk motherfucker—where my food at n***a? You got all my goddamn money, punk.” However, Sayd insists he followed Uber Eats protocols to a T and contends that he contacted Snoop “many times.” And when Sayd did not hear back from him within the 8-minute window, he canceled the order per Uber Eats protocols. According to CBSLA:

“There’s my picture there and also there is my first name,” said the driver, Sayd, who didn’t want to his last name on camera.

He believes the rapper may have compromised his safety by posting the video to his millions of followers, because it shows his name, photo and license plate number.

“After I see the video, I’m kind of like…I have anxiety and I fear for my family’s safety,” Sayd said.

The delivery driver said he had no idea he was delivering to Snoop Dogg back on January 27, when he was sent to an industrial area in Inglewood. He said he simply followed Uber’s protocol to wait eight minutes before canceling the order.

“I contacted the customer many times and I also followed the protocol by the book,” Sayd said.

Being sent to an industrial area in Inglewood explains why Sayd said it didn’t feel safe. Whatever happened to the good old days when rappers used to send their lackeys out to march 10 miles, barefoot, in the snow, with no jacket, uphill to fetch them a piece of cheesecake? Rappers are hella soft these days, squawking and complaining about some missing 99 cent McNuggets. After Snoop got his Karen on, Uber Eats reached out and apologized to him for saying they “truly regret Snoop Dogg’s frustrating experience,” but they left Sayd hanging out to dry. Complex reports:

However, Sayd, who has not gone back to work since the incident, believes he’s the one who’s owed an apology due to Snoop airing out his personal information on social media.

“When I read that, I just felt like it’s not fair because I am the one that deserves an apology from Uber Eats, not Snoop,” he said. “But I have to fight for my rights and my family’s rights. I just feel like I’m not really well from this delivery and also Uber Eats.”

Even if Sayd isn’t successful with his planned lawsuit, I hope at the very least that some rapper out there who’s smarter, more evolved, and harder than Snoop, will offer their services to Sayd to help him write a diss track so blistering and cruel, Snoop has no choice but to crimp crawl away in shame. Lil Nas X, where are you!!?!?!?
