Open Post: Hosted By The Trailer For The Trailer For “Bullet Train” Starring Brad Pitt

Bullet Train starring Brad Pitt is out this July, and so it’s that time for Sony Pictures to start shoving all things Bullet Train down our throats, starting with a teaser trailer for a trailer for a movie. But this one’s a little different. You see, it’s a commercial for the train company from the movie, Nippon Speed Line, and Brad narrates it, letting us know that on March 2, we’ll see an actual trailer.

Collider says that Bullet Train comes to us from the man responsible for Deadpool 2 and Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, director David Leitch. The film is based on a novel by Kōtarō Isaka called Maria Bītoru (Maria Beetle) and it takes place on a high-speed Shinkansen train going from Tokyo to Morioka, Japan (the train was renamed in the film to Nippon Speed Line). On top of Brad Pitt, it also stars Joey King, Andrew Koji, Masi Oka, Hiroyuki Sanada, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Zazie Beetz, Karen Fukuhara, Bad Bunny, Michael Shannon, and more! Lady Gaga was supposed to be in it but reportedly dropped out and was replaced by Sandra Bullock.

The movie is about “five assassins who all find themselves on a fast-moving bullet train and realize that their individual assignments are connected to each other.”

Here’s the super short mostly-scenic teaser where Brad uses his narration skills to promo this train better than Matt Damon has ever promoted a crypto scam. And honestly, I feel like this fictional train is actually a better investment.
