Megan Thee Stallion Drops The Text Messages That Tory Lanez Sent Her After Shooting

February 24, 2022 / Posted by:

In July 2020, Tory Lanez allegedly shot Megan Thee Stallion in the foot, and at first, she didn’t want to name him as her shooter. But she later did name him and alleged that he tried to buy her silence. Wonder how much he would have offered for her to clear out her phone because Megan just released the texts she says are from Tory where he apologizes for being “too drunk.” Tory denies the texts are about that and says he was apologizing for something else… on the night… she got shot? Hmmm… highly believable….

Tory Lanez is currently facing charges of felony assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle for allegedly shooting Megan. And last year at the Rolling Loud music festival, he violated a protective order by getting too close to Megan and had his bail increased from $190,000 to $250,000. Tory faces up to 22 years and eight months in state prison but says he’s being framed. There was a hearing in the case yesterday, and DJ Akademiks decided to start shit by claiming that Tory’s lawyer told the court that none of Tory’s DNA was found on the gun. But Rolling Stone reporter Nancy Dillon says that Tory’s lawyer did NOT make that claim during the hearing. Megan slammed DJ Akademiks for pushing a false narrative and then slammed Tory while sharing an apology text message he sent to her on the day of the shooting. via Billboard:

It all started when Megan shared a text message conversation between her and Lanez, in which he sent her a string of messages apologizing “from the bottom of my heart.”

“I was just too drunk,” Tory Lanez wrote. “None the less shit should have never happened and I can’t change what [I] did. I just feel horrible.”

While the texts didn’t explicitly mention the shooting, Megan explained that the incident was what led to the texts. “Lie yo way out of this,” she wrote. “If you ain’t do shit what you was apologizing for?”

Here’s Megan’s post (which she eventually deleted):

Tory responded on Twitter, saying that he was actually texting her to apologize for having sex with two best friends and getting caught. Yup, he’s pushing the “good dick” defense.

Megan, of course, had something to say about that too and responded on Instagram, via The Root:

“Fucking two best friends, n—a you SHOT ME. YOU KNOW WHATS WHAT YOU WERE APOLOGIZING FOR. YOU KEEP PUTTING A NARRATIVE OUT THAT ME AND MY FRIEND FELL OUT ABT YOU AND THAT’S NOT TRUE. WHY ARE YOU SKIPPING OVER THE SHOOTING, JUST ADMIT YOU SHOT ME! BC SHE DEFINITELY AIN’T DO IT AND I AINT SHOOT MY DAMN SELF. YOU THINK ITS OKAY TO SHOOT ME THEN HARASS ME ONLINE AND MAKE IT LIKE THIS WAS SOME WEIRD CAT FIGHT WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU.”

So according to Tory, he decided that the best time to text an apology to Megan for fucking her friend was when she was recovering after just getting shot?! And he still doesn’t know who shot her even though he was there?! Don’t be surprised if Tory’s next line of defense will be: “It wasn’t me, but I did see Alec Baldwin filming a western movie nearby…
