The Tinder Swindler Simon Leviev Says He’s Not A Tinder Swindler

As everybody already knows, the conman extraordinaire we all know as Simon Leviev, is the subject of the Netflix documentary, The Tinder Swindler, because he’s been accused of using Tinder to scam women into thinking he’s an ultra-rich diamond heir, only to grift them out of money. However, Simon has a surprise in store for us (I already have credit card debt, so it can’t be that): he’s NOT the Tinder Swindler. What a twist! Well, technically he’s not the Tinder Swindler anymore since he’s been kicked off of Tinder and every other dating app. But the evidence of his innocence is…. because he says so…? Ok, so it’s not really a twist. He’s going to have to brush up on his lying game if he plans to continue scamming ladies ’round the world!

After being banned by multiple dating apps thereby losing his only source of income, Simon decided he needed to set the record straight and let the world know that he was just a simple man looking for love (and private jets, and Gucci shirts, and trips to Italy, and…)! Simon, along with his new girlfriend, was interviewed by Inside Edition for a two-parter airing this week. via People:

Leviev is the subject of Netflix’s true-crime documentary of the same name, and allegedly conned an estimated $10 million out of women he attracted on the popular dating app, Tinder.

“I was just a single guy that wanted to meet some girls on Tinder,” Leviev tells Inside Edition in his first interview since the Netflix release, airing in two parts on Feb. 21 and Feb. 22. “I am not a Tinder Swindler.”

In another clip on Entertainment Weekly, he says, “They present it as a documentary but in truth, it’s like a complete made-up movie.”

Leviev, who’s joined by his girlfriend in the interview, also says, “I’m the biggest gentleman in the world.”

Here’s a little preview of Simon’s groundbreaking revelation:

So, let me get this straight if he’s not a “tinder swindler” and just some big ol’ sweetie pie, then why does he have a new Hollywood agent and is talking up plans to host a dating show and write a book? No one tuned into The Tinder Swindler to watch the story of some guy. The only thing that’s interesting about this dude is his scamminess!

I checked out his new Instagram (his previous one was supposedly “hacked,” presumably by his enemies) and he seems to be running the same old thing: videos of him and his collection of fancy glasses in meetings and cars. His “officical” account which touts that “every story has two sides!” already has 1.4 million followers. They’re surely following him because they heard of his reputation as the biggest gentleman on earth. Unless…it’s NOT true and he’s conned us! Simon Leviev, you’ve done it again!
