There’s Another Rumor That Taylor Swift And Joe Alwyn Are Engaged

February 18, 2022 / Posted by:

This isn’t the first time this rumor has come up. Doesn’t it always feel as though Taylor Swift is on the brink of an engagement? There’s definitely a secret Pinterest board titled Swiftly Ever After out there somewhere. But according to Life & Style (so grain of salt), Taylor Swift is engaged to her boyfriend of over five years, Joe Alwyn.

Taylor and Joe got together after she visited a cloning lab and asked for the man version of herself. No, that’s not the truth. They were friendly with each other for a while before they got together romantically after attending a Kings of Leon concert and after-party in October 2016. And now, according to numerous sources, 32-year-old Taylor and 30-year-old Joe are fixing to get married. Okay, but which one of her cats will be the maid of honor and which will be the ring bearer? via Life & Style:

It’s a love story! Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn are engaged after more than five years together, multiple sources exclusively tell Life & Style. The “All Too Well” artist, 32, and the English actor, 30, first sparked engagement rumors in mid-January after taking a romantic, three-day trip to Cornwall.

If Taylor and Joe really are engaged, this would be the first marriage for both.

There is no other proof to this besides Life & Style’s word. Where the hell are Taylor’s fans? Usually, they’re all over stuff like this, hunting for clues like an Agatha Christie detective. Surely Taylor dropped some kind of hint that she was engaged. Wait, let’s give them time. I’m sure that if they go back into Taylor’s complete discography, they’ll find a trail of aural breadcrumbs that lead to confirmation of an engagement. Or we can just wait for when Taylor inevitably releases a surprise follow-up album to Folklore and Evermore titled Chapel Doors on March 7th, because 3/7 is the numerology numbers corresponding to the names “Joe” and “Taylor.”
