Kodak Black Was Shot In The Leg Outside Of A Justin Bieber After-Party

I can’t imagine that getting shot outside of a Justin Bieber party is good for someone’s street cred, but I’ll guess we’ll find out as 24-year-old rapper Kodak Black is in that exact situation. Over the weekend, Kodak was outside of a club with fellow rappers Gunna, and Lil Baby. Some kind of an altercation occurred and Kodak and three others got shot.

Page Six says that Justin Bieber performed on Saturday at the Pacific Design Center in LA as part of a Super Bowl celebration. There was an after-party at the West Hollywood lounge, The Nice Guy. Joining Justin at his after-party were his wife Hailey Bieber, Leonardo DiCaprio, and of course, Kodak Black. But the drama went down after the club closed. Apparently, a fight broke out with someone in Kodak Black’s entourage and once the fists started swinging, the guns came out too.

“The fight was believed to have started with someone in Kodak Black’s entourage,” a source told Page Six exclusively. “After others jumped in, shots were fired… and then all hell broke loose.”

Sources say that the skirmish began at least half an hour after the bar had closed and the party had long finished.

The LAPD released a statement that read in part: “Preliminary investigation revealed there was a physical altercation between several individuals at the location. Gunshots were fired by an unknown suspect, who then fled south from the location.”

Kodak was shot in the leg and is among four victims, including a 19-year-old and a 60-year-old, and all four went to the hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening wounds. TMZ got footage of the shooting because of course they did:

You see Kodak standing with Gunna and Lil Baby, posing for photos and casually chatting with one another early Saturday morning outside Justin Bieber’s after-party at The Nice Guy.

You see Gunna walk behind Kodak and whispers something in his ear. Kodak turns his head and nods and says something back.

Gunna walks away and gets in his SUV and closes the door. At that point, someone yells, “Oh shit. What?!?” As the camera swings around you see several people, including Kodak, race toward someone. We froze the video so you could see what appears to be a gun. At that point, Kodak swings at someone, and then gunshots ring out. Kodak turns and stumbles backward.

Sources tell TMZ that Kodak only became a part of the ruckus as he ran over to help a friend who was being attacked. But this should also not surprise anyone since Kodak Black has had various brushes with criminal incidents and has been charged in the past with armed robbery, false imprisonment, weapons possession, and sexual assault. Kodak’s also one of the rappers who Donald Trump pardoned on his way out of office. But then after that, he still committed crimes and last year Kodak pleaded guilty to first-degree assault and battery in a sexual assault case for which he was sentenced to probation.

See, this is why I leave clubs way before they close down. Nothing good happens after Last Call. When the clock strikes 1:00 am, it’s time to find whatever trade you’re planning on sucking that night and getting out of the building before the late shift loses their minds.
