Liam Neeson Says He “Fell In Love” On The Set Of His New Movie But She Was “Taken”

It seems that 69-year-old Liam Neeson has managed to find love again after falling for someone while filming his newest movie, Blacklight, while in Australia. The actor did an interview with the Australian morning show Sunrise, and he talked about how during his time in the country he fell in love. But sadly the woman was taken and Liam wrecks the necks of bad guys, he doesn’t wreck homes!

Blacklight is about an operative who goes full badass after his family is threatened. Wait… that’s the plot of the Taken series, I’m sorry, let me look this up… okay… nope, I was right–that’s this movie’s plot also. Here’s the trailer:

People says that Liam really enjoyed his time making the movie… really. Liam, whose wife Natasha Richardson tragically died in 2009 after a skiing accident, says he may have found love again:

“I loved Melbourne, I loved our Australian crew,” Neeson said. “Every department was superb but they were their own people, do you know what I mean?” He continued, “I made a couple of pals and fell in love once while I was there, but she was taken.”

While Neeson did not expand on that, he added, “I look forward to going back, I really do.”

Going back?! That taken woman’s partner better watch out. Here’s Liam on Sunrise:

Poor Carole Radziwill, how will she get herself a piece of Liam if he keeps falling in love with mysterious married Australian women?

Amy Schumer chimed in and thinks Liam’s bad-timing love affair that never was should be the plot of the next Taken movie:

Considering that Liam said he’ll have to retire from action movies soon, he should maybe consider Amy’s suggestion at making the next Taken a romantic comedy. But in this one, Liam has to deal with his heart getting taken by a taken woman. And of course, Maggie Grace will have to get kidnapped somewhere in there.
