Ezra Miller Posted A Cryptic Message Directed At The Ku Klux Klan On Instagram

Kevin can wait! We need to talk about Ezra. You can’t take your eye off of Flash star Ezra Miller for even a second without them getting into something perplexing and dark-sided. And I’m not just talking about Justice League. Or the bathroom at the Met Gala. Or the Fantastic Beasts franchise. Or choking a woman in a bar in Reykjavik, Iceland. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ezra recently posted a video message to Instagram addressed to the Beulaville, North Carolina chapter of the Ku Klux Klan suggesting that they kill themselves with their own guns. While it’s a relief to know Ezra’s anti-KKK, by not providing any context for their video, the viewer is left with many open-ended questions. The least of all being, a middle part? In this economy?!

We can now safely add Sent Vague Threats of Violence While Wearing Official DC Merch to the list of things that make you go, huh? According to THR:

Ezra Miller on Thursday posted a cryptic video to social media in which the actor appears to threaten members of a Ku Klux Klan chapter in North Carolina.

Wearing a Flash ring, the DC superhero actor does not explain what prompted the video and their rep could not be immediately reached for comment. A connection between the town, identified by Miller as Beulaville, and the KKK was not immediately apparent.

Says Miller in the video: “Look, if y’all want to die, I suggest just killing yourselves with your own guns. OK? Otherwise, keep doing exactly what you’re doing right now — and you know what I am talking about — then, you know, we’ll do it for you, if that’s really what you want. Talk to you soon, OK. Bye.”

Here’s Ezra’s video, which is still up even though they literally threatened to shoot somebody. The caption clarifies absolutely nothing, but Ezra’s delivery lets us know they’re a big fan of “world famous Twitter impVinny Thomas.

I can’t seem to find the Instagram page for the Beulaville KKK so I don’t know if they’ve posted a response, but judging from Ezra’s recent posts, I’d say Ezra’s ready for battle/account suspension.

There’s a lot going on here. The eye, it is confused. THR adds:

As of Thursday evening, the actor was trending on social media, with a number of viewers taken aback by the message.

The actor, known for playing The Flash in Justice League, will star in their own DC film, The Flash, due out from Warner Bros. on Nov. 4. Miller will next be seen in Warners’ Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore on April 15. The actor plays Credence Barebone in the Harry Potter prequel series.

Ezra was already on shaky ground following the Iceland choking incident, which they have yet to address publicly, so I’m sure the folks at DC are just thrilled to see Ezra waving that Flash ring around while delivering decidedly unwholesome content. I hope Ezra knows it’s not real and can’t save them. Awful hard to run away from yourself, no matter how fast you are.
