Kim Cattrall Liked A Tweet That Praised Her New Show While Also Calling “And Just Like That…” Trashy
Kim Cattrall became the envy of anyone with any sort of self-control issues when she showed an insurmountable amount of restraint by minding her own business and staying the hell out of HBO’s messy revival of And Just Like That…. But Kim might have gotten a little shady when she liked a tweet that congratulated her on her new show, How I Met Your Father, and also dragged AJLT.
Kim has made it very clear that she’s moved on from playing Samantha Jones and wants nothing to do with the toxic in-fighting and ego-tripping between her and the others. After Kim was done getting it all out about Sarah Jessica Parker and the gang, she kept it relatively quiet and focused on other projects. Which ended up being the role of the narrator in the How I Met Your Mother spin-off, How I Met Your Father, which also makes her the grown-up version of Hilary Duff. And when someone on Twitter praised her on HIMTF and then bashed the SATC revival, Kim liked it. via E! News:
The tweet read, “So proud of @KimCattrall for skipping the trashy S&TC reboot and doing @HIMYFonHulu. She’s wonderful, and so is @HilaryDuff If you have 48 minutes to spare, go ahead and watch the first two episodes…I may even rewatch them before next week. Challenge accepted!”
After AJLT premiered in December, Kim was caught liking a collection of tweets that referenced the show, including one that read: “And just like that… I find myself only wanting to watch anything @KimCattrall is in. This is a Kim appreciation tweet.” Earlier this month, she liked a tweet that implied she was putting herself first by skipping the show. SPOILER ALERT! Samantha Jones was eliminated from the series with an explanation that Carrie fired Samantha as her publicist, and a bitter and scorned Samantha ran away to live in London.
Kim might be liking tweets that call And Just Like That… trashy, but she’s keeping it classy on her own Twitter feed by tweeting nice stuff about her new show, like this shot of her hugging a co-star:

Before I knew Kim was a stealth-liker, I would have just looked at this tweet and thought, “Yeah, I’d probably cast Kim as an in-the-future Hilary too.” But now that we know her Twitter habits, Kim’s Twitter likes have now become a source of drama and entertainment. Which tweet will she like next? Will she like a tweet that calls out one of her old co-stars by name? Will Kim respond to a tweet with a shady emoji? Honestly, this might actually be more compelling than some of the storylines on And Just Like That….
