Kanye West Says Kim Kardashian Tried To Stop Him From Going To Their Daughter Chicago’s Birthday Party
Chicago West is probably going to plan her own birthday party next year, after her parents, Kanye “Ye” West and Kim Kardashian, made her whole birthday weekend about themselves. Kanye was online complaining about how Kim wouldn’t let him come to Chicago’s 4th birthday party and then when he finally got there, he made more of a scene about it by going on social media and complaining about Kim some more. Sources say Kim denies the whole thing. Chicago must have been thinking: “Can’t you guys just buy me a Birkin and shut up, like Kulture’s parents?“
In a video Kanye gave to Hollywood Unlocked, he goes on about how he was not allowed to go to Chicago’s birthday party. Kanye has complained about Kim making it hard for him to see his kids before, and he was not having it:

The party was a joint one between Chicago and Kylie Jenner‘s daughter, 3-year-old Stormi Webster who also turns 4 on February 1.

A ball pit? In a pandemic? Okay… Regardless of which toddler’s birthday it was, the day had to be all about Kanye! And he was displeased it wasn’t! So when Kim saw online her ex-husband was ranting and raving, the story took a turn.
TMZ says that hours later, Kanye was back to update people on this happy turn of events and credited Stormi’s father, Travis Scott, with telling him where the birthday was and letting him inside. But the party was not at a secret location, it was at Kylie’s house.
Kanye seemed thrilled he was able to show up to the shindig but said it was Travis Scott who told him the party was being thrown at Kylie’s home. He also thanked Kris and Corey [Gamble]… and Kylie for letting him in, but made no mention of Kim. He also groused that security stopped him briefly at the door.

TMZ‘s sources say he stayed at the party for two hours. Sources also explain to TMZ that this was just a miscommunication. Kim and Kanye apparently planned to have two parties for Chicago:
Sources close to the ex-couple tell TMZ … Kanye was supposed to have Chicago all to himself at 4 PM today, so when he started railing about not being invited to her bday party with the Kardashians, Kim was surprised … as we’re told they’d previously discussed hosting two separate events for her, and she thought Kanye would be doing exactly that upon picking her up.
Us Weekly also has a source who says that Kim had no idea why Kanye was going crazy online. I thought she’d be used to that by now, though.
A source tells Us Weekly exclusively that Kim Kardashian was caught completely off guard by her estranged husband’s claims. “There were always two parties planned for Chicago, which was Kanye’s idea. He was scheduled to celebrate with her at 4 PM today,” the insider explains. “Kim was shocked to learn that he released a video about not being invited to her party — that’s not true and as soon as he asked to come he was given the location. He’s at the birthday party.”
Maybe Kim did withhold the party address from Kanye because she was afraid he would trigger another criminal battery investigation and punch one of the other kids’ parents when they tried to get his autograph.
