Oh, look, it’s Mariah Carey showing off how I plan to spend my New Year’s Eve. But instead of slathering myself in tons of fucking sequins, I’m going to slather myself in tons of sweats. And instead of luxuriating in a hot tub, I’ll be luxuriating on my couch. And instead of sipping on the sparkling tears of the unfestive hating bitches who cry whenever they hear All I Want For Christmas Is You AGAIN (read: me), I’ll be sipping on Target’s La Croix knock-off mixed with boxed white wine. But still, practically the same thing.
As she usually does, Mimi is spending her holidays in Aspen, Colorado, and to celebrate All I Want For Christmas hitting #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 again, she took a dip in a hot tub while wearing a diva’s bathing ensemble of choice (an opulent gown). Honestly, Mimi overdressed this time! And I’m sure Mimi doesn’t give half a fuck about ruining that gown because while posing for that pic, she probably made the money back from everyone’s auntie streaming All I Want For Christmas for the 9,0000th time in a day even though Christmas is over.
Billboard says that All I Want For Christmas has hit #1 a total of seven times (three times in 2019, twice in 2020, and twice again this year). Mimi posted the pic above on Instagram with this caption:
