Prince Andrew’s Legal Team Was Working Overtime Last Night After The Ghislaine Maxwell Verdict Came In

I have to laugh picturing Prince Andrew running around in an absolutely flop sweat yesterday after hearing that his one-time gal pal and frequent palace guest Ghislaine Maxwell was found guilty on 5 of 6 charges, many containing the word “conspiracy,” at the conclusion of her federal sex trafficking trial. So hold some room in your heart today for Andrew and his ride or die ex-wife Fergie’s housekeeper today who has to deal with the results of two very nervous bowels and a toilet that’s already clogged. Because Andrew probably spent hours at the printer printing all the evidence off the internet and trying to flush it down the toilet. As we know, he’s not very bright. But at least he’s smart enough to know he’s in deep, deep shit. As do his lawyers. But you won’t hear them admit that.

According to The Mirror, Andrew’s legal team was “locked in emergency talks” last night trying to figure out how to spin the verdict into good news for Andrew in his upcoming civil trial against Virginia Giuffre, who claims she was sex trafficked to him by his former friend Jeffrey Epstein when she was 17.

Prince Andrew’s lawyers were locked in emergency talks last night following the conviction of his pal Ghislaine Maxwell as they considered calling on one of her victims to help him in his US civil case which includes allegations of sex abuse and first degree rape.

The guilty verdicts left the British socialite – a second paedophile the royal is now known to have befriended – facing up to 65 years in jail after being found to have procured, groomed and trafficked girls for sex for Epstein abuse.

The jurors’ decision has sparked fear in the Duke of York’s legal team given the burden of proof in a criminal case is far higher than that needed in a civil case, like the one Andrew is facing.

Virginia did not testify at Ghislaine’s trial, but one of her victims who did, known at court as “Carolyn,” said she met Ghislane through Virginia so Andrew’s team are trying to use that to their advantage.

Already, in a controversial effort to prove the royal’s innocence, the Duke’s attorneys have portrayed his rape accuser as an alleged criminal who worked to procure underage “slutty girls” for Epstein.

Now, following the conviction of Maxwell, they are mulling bringing ‘Carolyn’ back to court along with other victims of the late Wall Street financier to show Giuffre was involved in bringing him girls to abuse.

In seeking to turn the tables on Giuffre, his US lawyer Andrew Brettler claims she was involved in the “wilful recruitment and trafficking of young girls for sexual abuse”.

“Andrew’s US team immediately seized upon Carolyn’s testimony,” said a legal source.

“They believe she holds a smoking gun to any possible role Virginia played in Epstein’s pyramid scheme of abuse.

“Andrew’s lawyers have convinced him that if he is to stand any chance of preventing her case from going to court, they need to fight with fire and that nothing should be off-limits.

Nothing should be off-limits? I’m pretty sure that line of thinking is what got Andrew in trouble in the first place. Another tact Andrew’s team tried this week was to “attempt to have the case dismissed, arguing as Giuffre lives in Australia and he in the UK, the US has no jurisdiction over both parties.” Seems like someone would have looked that rule up before now, but what do I know. Maybe his mother THE QUEEN kindly gifted him with a subscription to the Straw of the Month club for Christmas. According to The Guardian, the next court date for Andrew’s civil case is scheduled for next week where his team is expected to argue for a dismissal and “if they are not successful, or if the case is not settled, it is expected to go for trial between September and December 2022.” That gives Fergie some breathing room to get her book sales up before her fairy tale ending switches genres from fantasy romance to science fiction.

At any rate, here’s actual footage of Andrew giving his legal team their marching orders to defend The Crown, BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY.
