Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Share The First Picture Of Their Daughter Lilibet On Their Holiday Card
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are wrapping up 2021 with the release of their annual Christmas card. Last year they gave everyone a blurry family portrait featuring their son Archie that looked like it was run over six times by the mosaic filter in Photoshop. This time, they kept it more simple with a photograph of their family, starring new baby Lilibet Diana in her Christmas card debut.
Here’s their full card and message:
It’s definitely giving L.L. Bean Fall 2021 catalog cover realness. And as you can see, Harry and Meghan’s card came with a whole mess of donations. They made donations to several charities, including ones that protect families being relocated from Afghanistan, and organizations that promote paid parental leave. I hope they saved a little cash after that huge donations blitz for Harry. Every time they release a family photo, the poor man is never wearing shoes!
In other Meghan news, she may be asked to testify in Prince Andrew’s upcoming trial against Virginia Giuffre, the woman who has repeatedly accused him of sexually abusing her numerous times while she was underage. Despite his absolute worst attempts at weaseling out of his trial, it’s expected to happen next year. Both the defense and prosecution are preparing for the trial, which means brainstorming a list of witnesses they could call to testify. They can’t call Andy’s former BFF Jeffrey Epstein, because – well, he’s dead. Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently on trial herself, could be called to testify. And we all know Andrew’s most vocal supporter Fergie is probably frantically waving her arm in the air while screaming, “Me! Me! I’ll do it!“. But who else? Well, Virginia’s attorney thinks that maybe Meghan Markle’s name could be added to the list of potential witnesses called to the stand.
According to Virginia’s attorney, Meghan is being considered to testify for three reasons. She’s in the United States, where Virginia filed the lawsuit and where the trial will happen. She actually knows Prince Andrew through family. And they know Meghan won’t hold back and will spill what she knows. via People magazine:
“One; she is in the U.S. so we have jurisdiction over her. Two; she is somebody who obviously, at least for a period of time, was a close associate of Prince Andrew and hence is in a position to perhaps have seen what he did, and perhaps if not to have seen what he did to have heard people talk about it. Because of her past association with him, she may very well have important knowledge, and will certainly have some knowledge. Three; she is somebody who we can count on to tell the truth. She checks all three boxes.”
When reached for comment, Meghan had nothing to say about the possibility of testifying in this trial. Also included in the list of possible people who might be called to testify are Prince Charles and Fergie. The judge better set a timer with Fergie, because she could lead the nation’s longest filibuster talking about how wonderful her ex-husband is.
