Duchess Kate Is Reportedly Very Upset About Her Strained Relationship With Prince Harry And Meghan Markle

Duchess Kate of royal family fame is “really, really upset” about the state of her relationship with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Who knew that unsavory comments from the family would affect family gatherings?!
The British Royal Family has been plagued with negative press ever since that darn Prince Harry hitched his ride to that she-devil Meghan Markle. The idyllic palace was torn asunder, never to be united again. Also, there’s that Prince Andrew nonce-sense but never mind THAT! Kate has expressed that since Harry and Meghan left their official royal roles to slum it up in the states, she’s been really stressed out. Kate has been “really, really upset about it all,” one close insider tells PEOPLE in this week’s cover story.
Adds a friend: “Everything with Harry and Meghan has been hugely stressful, but if anything, it’s pulled [her and William] closer together. She was upset about it because [William] was so upset. Seeing her husband so distraught was tough.”
If there’s a silver lining here, it’s that Kate and Wills are stronger than ever. She’s there for him when tells Africa to stop having kids and he’s there for her when Kate’s Netflix special starring Meghan gets ignored because a new season of The Crown is out. It’s a truly beautiful thing to see a couple beat the odds and come together to help create distractions from the real news.
The topic of Meghan, 40, and Prince Harry, 37, has caused some rare candid moments for the couple. Shortly after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s interview with Oprah Winfrey, during which they revealed there were “concerns and conversations about how dark [Archie’s] skin might be when he’s born,” Prince William told reporters, “We are very much not a racist family.”
Last month, Kate was quick to change the subject during a visit to a school when one of the students asked about Meghan and Harry. “What else?” she promptly responded.
That definitely was a middle-aged reporter dressed up as a student who asked that question. “Yo, Miss Duchess, we think you’re real fly and all that! But do you have any thoughts on the record regarding your strained relationship with Harry and Meghan?” Classy, move from Kate to completely ignore the question. That’s royal family PR 101!
