A Photo From Ghislaine Maxwell’s Trial Shows Her Lounging With Jeffrey Epstein At Queen Elizabeth’s Balmoral Estate

Ah, Balmoral – Queen Elizabeth’s castle away from castle, the Scottish estate where she goes to unwind from all the stress of being on stamps and coins. Balmoral is a serene, pastoral estate filled with rolling hills, forests, and animals like horses, dogs, and wild birds. And thanks to a picture that was shown as evidence in Ghislaine Maxwell’s sex trafficking trial, it looks like Balmoral was once the site of two jackasses as well! A few pretty obvious clues have led people to believe that a picture of Ghislaine and Jeffrey Epstein relaxing at a cabin in the woods was actually taken on the grounds of Balmoral.

Ghislaine Maxwell’s sex trafficking trial is coming to a close. And as Vanity Fair reports, it’s not a great sign that things are wrapping up, because it looks like the prosecution is fumbling the trash bag, so to speak.

The list of prosecutorial missteps is long. Victims have appeared unprepared for cross-examination. High-profile coconspirators have not yet been called to testify about Maxwell’s alleged role in Epstein’s child sex trafficking operation. On Tuesday, prosecutors stunned reporters in the courthouse viewing room by announcing the government intends to rest its case before Friday – weeks earlier than anticipated.

Vanity Fair also wonders why the first witness called to the stand was Jeffrey Epstein’s former private pilot, who really only named names but kept it vague by not naming anything that happened on said private plane. So it’s allegedly kind of a mess. Messier than that passive-aggressive courtroom sketch by Ghislaine as a desperate power move.

Hopefully, there’s as much bittersweet joy from Ghislaine’s verdict as there was with Josh Duggar’s guilty verdict earlier today. But for now, we can marinate on the evidence that was presented in Ghislaine’s case, which includes plenty of vomit-triggering pictures, like Ghislaine rubbing a corpulent Jeffrey Epstein’s feet during a plane ride. Or, a picture of Ghislaine and Jeffrey posing thoughtfully while sitting on the porch of a log cabin. And the log cabin in question? Well, it’s probably The Queen’s little log cabin on the grounds of Balmoral Estate. via Sky News:

Newly released pictures chart Ghislaine Maxwell’s relationship with disgraced billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, with one image showing them at the Queen’s log cabin. Another photo, not featured in the trial, shows the Queen in what appears to be the same spot.

Here are the two pictures, and it doesn’t take Inspector Clouseau to deduct that this is the same damn cabin in the woods.

As Royal writer (and friend of Sussex) Omid Scobie writes, Jeffrey and Ghislaine were allegedly invited to the property by their mutual friend and son of the property owner, Prince Andrew. And as we all know, Andrew’s relationship with Jeffrey and Ghislaine has come back to bite him in the ass hard, as Virginia Giuffre’s civil lawsuit against him goes to trial later next year. That picture is a yikes and a half for everyone involved, but especially for the Royal Family. They’re probably so pissed at Andrew right now. And Andrew is probably trying to explain it away like, “Um…that could be any cabin in the woods! Like the cabin in the woods from the movie, The Cabin in the Woods. Remember? It was filled with evil monsters? It’s probably that one.
