Bradley Cooper And Irina Shayk Both Dropped Hints That They Might Be Back Together
After being seen on a walk together last month, Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk decided to pump a little more juice into those “They got back together!” rumors by showing up at the premiere of Bradley’s new movie, Nightmare Alley. Well, Bradley spoke to reporters on the red carpet, and he continued to do the kinds of things that would lead you to believe things are a little opposite of platonic for them. And Irina did her fair share by dropping a subtle hint about the nature of their night, just in an Instagram post.
Bradley spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the mother of his 4-year-old daughter Lea. And while he wouldn’t just come right out with it and say they’re back together, he did offer up some lovey-dovey energy about Irina.
[Bradley] shared how special it is to have his ex and the mother of his child, Irina Shayk, with him on his big night.
“It’s very special,” Cooper told ET of having Shayk’s support as he celebrates the film’s release.
Awww, it’s very special. Although the cynic in me suspects it’s actually not that special. What kind of stops did Irina have to pull out, or prior engagements that needed canceling, to be there at a big Hollywood movie premiere? Bradley probably texted her “I got a movie premiere and a plus-one invite. U got a nice outfit?” and she was like, “U know i do. Will I be home for my Below Deck Mediterranean marathon, or is a whole night thing“. But the hopeless romantic in me believes this is just the first of many awards season appearances for them.
So how did Irina mark her night with Bradley? She didn’t post an Instagram picture with him. But she did allude to his presence with her caption, which explained she was having a “D night.” I don’t think she meant it as anything more than “date night,” but who knows?
Irina and Bradley didn’t pose together on the red carpet. He was mostly seen with his co-star Rooney Mara, whereas Irina posed for pictures with model Stella Maxwell. Stella wrote on her Instagram post that it was a “Night out with sis @irinashayk.” But I think the message Bradley and Irina want to send here is that they’re essentially just a Licorice Pizza premiere or Golden Globe Awards away from showing up hand-in-hand and confirming things once and for all. Maybe that’s why Bradley didn’t say too much at the Nightmare Alley premiere. Teasing a relationship is a marathon, not a sprint. It’s probably why he didn’t blow months worth of PR work by telling Entertainment Tonight, “I may be here to celebrate Nightmare Alley, but it’s nothing but a dream to be here with my number-one lady Irina!”
