Sam Asghari Called Britney Spears His Wife On Instagram
Britney Spears’ fans have barely recovered from the shock of hearing that her conservatorship was officially over after thirteen years before they were once again forced to clasp a hand to their chest and exclaim, “WHAT? NO!” in shock at a development in her personal life. Except this one might have just been the result of Britney’s fiancé playing fast, loose, and cute with his words on social media. Or maybe it was intentional because let’s face it – name a better way to get a little nugget of attention than by casually referring to one of the most famous women in pop as your “wife.” Either way, that’s what Sam Asghari did when he posted a recent picture of himself and Ms. Britney Jean on Instagram.
Britney and Sam have been together for about five years and engaged for a little less than three months. I’m sure we’ve all been eagerly anticipating the wedding of the century, so Sam Asghari better just be goofing around on Instagram by calling Britney his wife. And what a thing to do, especially in a post dedicated to Britney’s 40th birthday! Sam paid tribute to her on her special day by throwing up a couple of pics of himself and Britney engaging in some PDA, and he chose a very special word to refer to the birthday girl: “my wife.” And not in the traditional application of the word, which is of course the relationship-standard Borat way of pronouncing it. via People magazine:
One day before Britney Spears’ 40th birthday, Asghari shared a series of photos on Instagram of himself with Spears — and declared his admiration for her “relentless strength.”
“I call you Lioness because I admire your relentless strength, I’m inspired by your beautiful heart, I celebrate your smile that lights up my world” the fitness guru wrote on Wednesday, alongside the photos of the couple giving each other a big smooch and then smiling. “Everyday is your birthday my queen. Happy 1st birthday to my wife #dec2nd @britneyspears.”
Britney also posted videos of her and Sam on a plane headed to an international locale to celebrity her birthday:
I know Sam is trying to be sweet by calling Britney his wife before they’re actually married, but he can’t be doing stuff like that. Don’t make me picture Britney casually eloping at city hall! We’ve been promised a custom-made Versace wedding dress. There should be a series of twirls down the aisle. A bouncer out front of the venue denying entry to anyone who peeks at the guest list and says, “Last name Spears? Is it on there?“. And I need to know that she went all out and got herself a Frapp fountain for the reception.
