Madonna Got Dragged For Letting Her People Work Without Pay

Madonna, the queen of reinvention, has been so many things over the decades from… well, from Madonna to whore and everything in between. She’s been a Viking, a cowgirl, a rapper, a philosopher and had the butt of a stripper Drake would give his number to. And she’s been Marilyn Monroe both dead and alive. But above all else, Madonna is an Artist. And apparently, she’s also a trailer hitch because her ass has spent the past few years getting draaaaagged. And this week is no different than the last.

According to NME, Madonna’s most recent case of butt-burn was over an Instagram post complaining about not having been supported by “non artistic people” who objected to her recreating Marylin’s death bed for V Magazine. Madonna’s post included a behind-the-scenes photo of photographer Steven Klein holding a knife to her throat, for reasons only Madonna and her God, Madonna, could understand. And she thanked the little people who “worked long hours and for free all to support madame X.” So it’s a good thing she bought that rubber caboose, she’s gonna need it. People objected to both the violent image and her cheap ass (no pun intended, I’m sure she paid dearly for it. I know we have). NME reports:

Madonna has been criticised for sharing a violent image and revealing in its caption that members of her team have been working “for free”.

The pop legend posted a behind-the-scenes snap showing photographer Steven Klein holding a knife to her throat. It was taken during her recent shoot for V Magazine – itself controversial for alluding to Marilyn Monroe’s death.

“Proud of my collaboration with with @stevenkleinstudio For @vmagazine and knowing that against all odds and with very little support from non artistic people who kept pushing back and the fact that we did it with almost zero budget we were still able to make ART ! Art is not dead if you have the strength to fight for what you believe in !!” part of the caption in the since-deleted Instagram photo read.

“Thanks to all who did support us and slept on couches and worked long hours and for free all to support madame X who is not only here to disturb the peace but to keep Art alive I send you all a BIG kiss.”

NME claims the post has since been deleted but I think she just reposted it with the knife picture as the second image below:

Working long hours for free used to be called exploitation or even slavery, but now, like the coronavirus pandemic, it’s just called The Great Equalizer. So yes, Madonna is being dragged for this even though it’s just Madonna being Madonna and on a scale from Desperately Seeking Susan Madonna to Aretha Franklin Tribute Madonna, it hardly ranks. But dragged she is. Thankfully, her butt is fully inflated and ready for abuse.

Take it all in while you can before somebody at IG clocks that nip! She really ought to be more careful about posting pictures like this. She had the face and ass of a Kardashian with the soul an Artist. That’s dangerous because the last thing we need is for Kanye West to get any ideas. I can think of fewer matchups that could rival Kanye and Madonna, Artist to Artist, who could match them in artistry, fuckery, and delusion.
