Erika Jayne Said She Would Never Have Gone On “Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills” If She Had Known About Tom Girardi’s Alleged Financial Schemes

The final hour of the 4,500-hour-long Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion aired last night and the main character of the season (but not for good reasons) Erika Jayne was questioned one last time by Andy Cohen. Who, by the way, suddenly turned into an investigative reporter with these questions. Andy asked Erika point-blank if she knew about her estranged husband Tom Girardi‘s alleged financial crimes and she said that she did not and would never have gone on the show if she had.

The eleventh season of RHOBH came to a close last night. This season has very much been about 50-year-old Erika’s dissolving marriage as her ex, 82-year-old Tom, faces the fallout of his alleged financial schemes, including embezzling money from the families of victims of a plane crash. Since Tom used the millions he embezzled to fund his and Erika’s lavish lifestyle and her pop “career,” she has found herself in the middle of his mess and is facing a $25 million lawsuit.

Erika’s spending came up during last night’s reunion, and she said that she has no idea why she’s being sued for $25 million. Erika was also accused of racking up a $14 million AMEX bill and she talked about that last night, saying that she charged $14 million over the course of many years. via Page Six:

The Bravolebrity, 50, told host Andy Cohen and her castmates that the lofty credit card bill — made public amid her legal and financial woes with estranged husband Tom Girardi — spanned 12 years.

“So, if you knock that down to $2 million per year, that’s all pretty much what we’re doing this year,” she said, gesturing to her co-stars. “I mean, doing in this lifestyle.”

People adds that in the final hour, Andy asked Erika if she’d spoken to Tom and she revealed she had after seeing photos of Tom with a black eye:

“I just wanted to make sure he was safe. Because after the pictures [of him with a black eye] came out, he looked so bad that I just wanted to make sure he was in the right place.”

Earlier this season, Erika told costars Garcelle Beauvais and Crystal Kung Minkoff that Tom was calling her multiple times a day. Garcelle, 54, later shared the revelation with the entire group, prompting an outburst from Erika. “This again goes to the [divorce being called a] “sham,”” Erika said of the moment on Wednesday’s episode, saying she “could not answer those calls” without people assuming she was scheming with Tom.

As for what Erika has talked to Tom about she brought it all back to her, you know, as Jesus would do:

“I’ve asked him how he could put me in this position. I asked him… why would you leave me with millions of dollars of lawsuits pointed at me?” she said through tears.

But don’t worry, she did actually ask Tom if he was a crook, but he just didn’t “acknowledge anything” to her:

“None of it,” she said. “It doesn’t even matter what he says because he’s incompetent.” Knowing the cases won’t be resolved anytime soon, Erika said she wouldn’t have joined RHOBH had she been aware of where she’d be today. “I wouldn’t have been on a reality TV show. Okay, let’s be clear here,” she said. “I wouldn’t, because you can’t hide shit like this. That’s what I’m saying… This is not some master plan. This is not, you know, Erika being some financial fucking mastermind,” she added. “This is a tragic sequence of events that are completely terrible.”

I’m sure that after this Erika, is going to settle up her lawsuits ASAP and then start her image refurbishment by going on Maxinista hauls on the regular. She’ll probably get a Subaru and stop wearing extensions… well, human hair ones at least.
