Tori Spelling Feels “Trapped” In Her Marriage With Dean McDermott

Last week, Tori Spelling added more drama to the rumors about the demise of her marriage with Dean McDermott when she just so happened to be papped outside of a lawyer’s office with a notepad that had the words “assets” and “custody” written on it. The two have had rumored marital problems for eons and recently sources said that their marriage is a mess but they’re likely to stay together for the “sake” of their five kids. But we’ll see about that, as Tori dodged a question about their marriage, and sources claimed she and Dean had a “really serious” fight. More or less serious than when she let their daughter dress up as “McQuisha?”

Page Six says Tori was a guest on yesterday’s episode of The Wendy Williams Show, which was guest-hosted by Whitney Cummings while Wendy Williams is busy dealing with her health issues.  Whitney is also a friend of Tori’s but still had to ask her about her failing marriage:

“What? You know I’m not going to answer that,” Spelling told comedian Cummings when she asked what was going on between the pair.

“Fair enough, fair enough,” the stand-up replied. “We asked, I love you, this is somebody that has strong boundaries and she’s controlling the narrative, and answers the questions [we] want to ask when she wants to answer them, and I respect that and I love that about you.”

“Awesome, so what are you going to ask me next?” Spelling responded, sparking a hearty laugh. Spelling–who did not wear her wedding band during the segment–appeared to be quite upbeat during her visit to the studio, as staffers “couldn’t tell” there was trouble at home for the actress, insiders tell PageSix.

But while Tori may look like the white Wendy Williams, she wasn’t in the mood to spill tea about her marriage. Although, sources who spoke to Us Weekly were in the mood. Sources claimed that Tori and Dean had a fight and afterward Dean “went missing” for a few days and when he came back, Dean told Tori he would sue her for alimony and child support. Dean and Tori have a prenup and so she thought Dean couldn’t do that but apparently, she recently learned that he can, in fact, sue for child support if they split up.

“She went ballistic” and is “pissed” at her attorneys, the insider tells Us… The most recent fight left [Tori] “very upset,” especially since the duo “have tried counseling” from time to time. According to the insider, Spelling and McDermott “constantly fight and break up,” but this argument was “really serious.”

While Spelling is “miserable” with her husband, she has remained in the marriage “for the kids,” the source explains… [Tori] “sucked it up” when she went to Disneyland with McDermott and their children on Thursday, October 21, because their kids “have no idea what’s going on,” the insider adds… Through all the duo’s ups and downs, “money is an issue and it’s always been an issue,” the source tells Us, adding it’s one of the reasons Spelling “feels trapped.”

Okay, not to burst Tori’s bubble but the kids absolutely know there are issues–they know what’s going on, the neighbors know what’s going on, some teenager in South Korea who has never heard of Tori Spelling would look at those Disneyland pictures and know what is going.

I think it’s time for Tori to call the only bank in the world that would potentially loan her money–AKA, mom Candy Spelling–and beg her to help Tori pay to divorce her husband. Tori just has to pitch it the right way, like: “Mom, don’t worry. After you help me pay off my husband, I’ll never have another child again.” Candy could never resist such an offer!
