Border Collies are the Kate Beckinsale of the dog world because they’re gorgeous AND smart. Although, maybe that’s not a fair comparison, because any self-respecting Border Collie wouldn’t even think of sniffing on Pete Davidson’s ass. But to prove the genius of a Border Collie, here’s a Luna, a smart doggy who knows the sound the ice cream man makes because the ice cream man gives her a free cone. Luna isn’t only smart and pretty, she’s also lucky, because she doesn’t have to sneakily steal a dollar from her mom’s pocketbook to buy some ice cream. She gets that shit comped!
Luna lives with her human in Belgium, and her human tells The Dodo that she learned the call of the ice cream truck after the ice cream man gave her a free cookie once. And now the sound of the ice cream man’s truck is the most beautiful sound of all to her.
“The ice cream man, a great animal lover, gave her a cookie,” Niko Tanghe, Luna’s owner, told The Dodo. “The second time, when she heard the song from the ice cream cart she already walked to the front door having made the association.”
And here’s Luna showing the other dogs that she doesn’t have to get her human to take her to Starbucks to get one of those Puppucinos. The deliciousness comes to her, thankyouverymuch!
So let’s see, all I have to do is spend like $100 on a Border Collie costume and hundreds more on a plane ticket to Belgium, and a tattooed ice cream man will give me some free deliciousness, which probably costs 50 cents. Sounds like a plan to me! Listen, I never claimed to be Border Collie smart.
