Dr. Dre Was Reportedly Served With Divorce Documents At His Grandmother’s Gravesite

Dr. Dre and Nicole Young have clearly been trying to beat Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt at having the messiest celebrity divorce on the block. Obviously, they have a lot of time to make up for since Brangelina has been divorcing for years now, but Nicole and Dre are really shooting their shot! Previously, Dre had an aneurysm which did not stop the divorce from being messy at all whatsoever, and then Dre immortalized the drama in song by dissing Nicole in a rap. Nicole accused him of having several mistresses and wanted to talk to them, and Dre accused her of embezzling money. Now shit has been elevated to another level of trashy hatred, as TMZ says that Dr. Dre’s camp claims that Nicole had a process server serve Dre with legal papers at his own grandmother’s burial site. But sources deny Nicole would ever do something so cruel! They claim it went down in the parking lot of the cemetery where his grandma is buried.

Nicole filed for divorce last year after 24 years of marriage and claimed that Dre tore up their prenup years ago in a romantic gesture. Dre wants the prenup enforced and the two have been fighting various financial battles ever since. Dre, who court papers show has $243 million worth of assets and has a reported net worth of $800 million, has been paying Nicole $293,306 a month in spousal support, even though she wanted $2 million a month. And most recently, Dre was ordered to pay $1.55 million to Nicole for her legal fees incurred in the divorce so far. This brings us to the gravesite.

TMZ says that Dre did not pay Nicole that $1.55 million because he “believes that amount is in error.” Instead, he tossed her a measly $325,433. Well, Nicole clearly doesn’t play around that way and she took immediate legal action coming for the remaining $1,224,567.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … Dre was at a Los Angeles cemetery Monday to put the woman who helped raise him in her final resting place.

There’s a dispute over where exactly Dre was confronted by the process server. Sources connected to Dre tell TMZ … a process server came up to him at the burial site as Dre was standing by his grandma’s casket and tried serving him. Sources connected to Nicole Young tell TMZ … Dre was served in the cemetery’s parking lot after the burial.

Either way … we’re told Dre recoiled in anger and wouldn’t take the documents in hand. Our Dre sources claim the process server dropped the documents by the gravesite. Our Nicole sources say they were dropped in the parking lot.

If he thinks Nicole is pulling tricks now, just wait until Dr. Dre is banging one of his alleged mistresses and one of Nicole’s people descends from the ceiling via a cable and hands them another subpoena to testify. But well, Dre and Nicole’s divorce has gotten so messy and trashy that it’s even disturbing the dead! They can’t rest in peace because they have to listen to Dre scream about getting served.
