Angelina Jolie Brought Most Of Her Children To The Premiere Of “Eternals”
The most maternal of all the Eternals, Angelina Jolie, brought the entire child army save 17-year-old Pax to her Marvel premiere last night, in case you were wondering who the child army’s favorite parent should be. (Hint: it’s the one who lets them root through her closet and takes them to fancy red carpet events) According to People, Maddox, 20, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 13, all joined Angie on the red carpet for the Hollywood premiere of Marvel’s Eternals, and Zahara wore the same Elie Saab gown Angie wore to the 2014 Academy Awards. Do you think Brad Pitt is going to let any of those rugrats touch his precious hat collection?! Not a chance.
Angie stayed with her usual beige color palette and fancied up her face with some kind of hardware that People calls a “chin cuff.” Angie told Entertainment Tonight that “My kids are all mixed with vintage, and in my old Oscars dress. We did all vintage and upcycled my old stuff.” I wonder which lucky kid got to wear the vial of Billy Bob Thornton’s blood! Here’s the gang at the premiere.
I guess Angie wasn’t kidding about the up-cycling! She almost had enough of the brown sheets left to finish both her pantsuit (yes, it’s pants in there!) and Shiloh’s dress. It’s hard when you have to do it all yourself. You try having to play the role of mom, dad, Maria von Trapp, AND The Baroness simultaneously! And according to Extra, Angie doesn’t just play a superhero, she’s also a supermom! Just don’t ask her to cook an egg. That’s a job for the supernanny.
So what do her kids think of seeing her on the big screen as a superhero? “I think they just find me funny,” she said, adding, “I think someone said the other day, ‘Isn’t it amazing you can like fly a plane and do all the stuff at the U.N. and you can be in a Marvel movie, but you can’t make eggs?’”
The 46-year-old superstar revealed the one mundane mom task she does love: “Dishes, I don’t mind dishes.” She also remembered, “I used to get peed on a lot, you know, when you are changing diapers and stuff and you are on the way out,” joking, “That was always a fun time.”
Good save, Angie! But you’re not fooling me. I mean, I believe she used to get peed on, but was she really changing all them diapers? I feel like Zahara needs to make sure the the next dress she borrows from mom’s closet is thoroughly dry cleaned in advance.
