Howie Mandel Was Rushed To The Hospital After Passing Out At A Starbucks (UPDATE)
UPDATE: Howie Mandel tweeted that he’s okay now and is at home.
I am home and doing better. I was dehydrated and had low blood sugar. I appreciate the great doctors and nurses that took such good care of me. Thank you to everyone who reached out but I am doing ok!

Here’s the original post:
Howie Mandel was rushed to the hospital this morning after passing out at his local Starbucks in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles. The 65-year-old was getting coffee with his wife and friends when he suddenly lost consciousness and fell over. He was then laid out on a cement bench (comfy, thanks guys!), paramedics were called to the scene, and they took Howie to a Tarzana hospital.
TMZ has photos of Howie sitting up on the bench, receiving pretreatment from members of the Los Angeles Fire Department. So it would appear that he regained consciousness before he got in the ambulance, which is definitely a good sign. A source tells TMZ that doctors think Howie passed out due to low blood sugar, but tests are being run. I don’t know about Howie’s physical health, but he’s always been very open about his struggles with anxiety, OCD, and germaphobia. A couple of months into the pandemic he told Page Six:
I’m on medication. I’m moving my therapist into a whole new tax bracket on the phone. Some people call it a pandemic, I call it ‘told ya!’
Apparently, Howie’s a regular at this particular Starbucks, and customers that knew him were “were shocked” to see him pass out. Um, yeah, that would be a wild sight on a Wednesday morning. “Madison, where’s my tall soy latte, no foam?” “Oops, sorry, boss, I got distracted by Howie Mandel fainting.” “Enough attention-seeking LIES, Madison, you are fired!”
