Denise Richards Was Apparently “Blindsided” By A Judge Ruling That Charlie Sheen No Longer Owes Her Child Support
In the Bravo throne room, ruler of the Housewives, Andy Cohen, is sitting smugly on his throne and waiting for the moment he can haughtily cackle before saying, “I KNEW you’d be back,” when Denise Richards comes crawling up to his hooves to beg for her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills gig back. Because this week, a judge ruled that Charlie Sheen no longer has to pay her child support for their two daughters, 16-year-old Lola and 17-year-old Sami, since both girls reportedly live with him. But sources tell People that Denise has accused Charlie of pulling shady and manipulative moves to get out of paying her the money he owes her and she was blindsided by the whole thing. Well, Denise should possibly prepare to bust out another SHOCK face, because I wouldn’t be surprised if Charlie goes after her for child support since she’s working more steadily than his ass is nowadays.
Denise and Charlie have been fighting over child support money for a while. Since at least 2018, Charlie has been crying in broke about how his days of making $1.8 million an episode on Two and a Half Men are long, long, long gone and he’s asked the court to lower his child support payments. Back then, he claimed his total net worth was $5.8 million. Charlie was on the hook for paying Denise $20,000 a month in child support for their daughters, on top of paying Brooke Mueller $55,000 a month for their 12-year-old twin boys, Bob and Max. In 2019, Denise filed papers in court saying that Charlie hadn’t given her child support in years and owed her $450,000. Denise shit on Charlie’s claim that he doesn’t have any money because it’s not like he’s downgraded his “tiger blood and top-shelf call girls” lifestyle to a more affordable “housecat blood and factory-defected sex doll from Wish.com” lifestyle. Denise also said at the time that she believed Charlie was hiding money to get out of paying child support to her.
Well, on Monday, a judge changed Charlie’s child support payments to Denise to “zero dollars a month,” commencing from August 1, 2018. Denise wasn’t in court because she’s traveling for work. But a source tells People that she was surprised the hearing happened this week. Also, Charlie told the court that he’s had 100% custody of Lola and Sami since April and the source claims that’s a lie.
“Charlie filed two years ago and kept pushing the court date, so Denise was very surprised that it happened yesterday while she is out of town filming. She was blindsided. Now he’s manipulating the situation.
Lola does not live with Charlie. She lives with both of her parents and stays with Charlie when Denise is out of town. When Denise is back, Lola will be with her. This is very disappointing for Denise, but also not surprising. Charlie is pitting the girls against their mother, which is horrible.”
Another source tells Page Six that Denise never knew about the new court date and Charlie held it from her on purpose since he knew she’d be out of town. And that Charlie kept postponing their court date because “he didn’t want records of the child support he was paying Brooke to impact the case after he agreed to pay them both the same amount of child support.” But yet another source tells People that Denise knew about this court date for six months. Denise’s lawyers also didn’t submit any opposing paperwork for the hearing.
And while Lola may live with Denise, Sami definitely does not. Last month, Sami posted TikToks where she called Denise’s house “hell” and “abusive,” and declared that she’s moved out and has dropped out of high school. I mean, listening to Denise’s current crazy husband, Aaron Phypers, spout lukewarm shit about how he can regrow tendons without surgery sounds like hell, but I don’t think that’s what Sami was talking about. But Denise’s side claims that her household isn’t abusive. Sami just didn’t want to follow Denise’s normal rules and prefers living with her dad since it’s a rule-free kingdom of fuckery over there. The source adds that Charlie is pitting their daughters against her.
So, It looks like Charlie is in charge of caring for at least one teenage girl and that’s one teenage girl too many. What could go wrong besides everything? If I was a judge and it came down to putting a teenage girl in the care of Charlie Sheen or a chipped rock, I’d tell that chipped rock to download TikTok and get to know it, because they’re about to be the caretaker of a teenager. But maybe Sami will run screaming back into the arms of Denise after her father makes her watch old episodes of Two and a Half Men while reliving his glory days. Now that’s a real hell house situation.
