Meghan Trainor And Her Husband Have Two Toilets Next To Each Other

Meghan Trainor went on Nicole Byer’s podcast, Why Won’t You Date Me?, and revealed that she and her husband of almost three years, Daryl Sabara (of Spy Kids boy fame), had two toilets installed next to each other so they can go to the bathroom at the same time. It’s official! Urban Dictionary is changing T.M.I. to stand for: Two Toilets, Marriage, and I Didn’t Need To Know That!

Meghan, who went on Nicole’s show with her brother Ryan Trainor (they co-host the podcast Workin’ On It), explained that their two-toilet decision has to do with their 8-month-old son, Riley (via Page Six):

“We just got a new house, and we did construction. Nobody knows this, but in our bathroom, there was one toilet, and a lot of time in the middle of the night when we’re with the baby, we’ve got to pee at the same time. So I was like, ‘Can we please have two toilets next to each other?’”

The “All About That Bass” singer admitted her contractor initially thought she was joking, but he ended up agreeing to the unusual request and added a new toilet beside the existing one.

OK, peeing. That’s weird, but not so bad. At least she and Daryl didn’t– UH OH, THERE’S MORE:

“We got two toilets sitting next to each other, and we’ve only pooped together twice,” she said, adding, “We pee at the same time a lot.”

They’ve only pooped together twice? TWICE?! The only time partners should witness each other pooping is during childbirth, poop-related illnesses, and medical emergencies. You can’t just be going Number Two together willy-nilly! Right? RIGHT?!? Or am I the one who’s wrong, and this is like that episode of The Twilight Zone where the lady wakes up and is horrified to discover she’s in a world where all couples poop together side-by-side?

Here’s a clip of Meghan explaining her two-toilet situation:

When baby Riley is toilet-trained, will his parents add a third mini-toilet? Boy oh boy, I hope that family bathroom has a factory-grade ventilation system…
