Britney Spears Is Back On Instagram But Her “Fans” Aren’t So Sure
Britney Spears has been well on her way toward freedom from her conservatorship and the shackles that bound her, as her father Jamie Spears finally requested to end her 13-year conservatorship. Britney also recently got engaged to her boyfriend Sam Asghari. Britney took some time off Instagram to celebrate., but well, she’s already back. ….Or is she? It seems the #FreeBritney movement is not ready to sleep just because they think that whoever is posting to Instagram isn’t Britney!
Britney announced that she was taking a break from Instagram to celebrate her new engagement. Britney and Sam went off to Palm Springs for some relaxation and romance, and probably some working out. When she deactivated her account, a source told E! News that “nothing should be read into” the decision, and Britney was “just taking a break from it because she’s in a great place legally and personally and is focusing on other things for the time being, which is a great thing.”
But she’s already back, saying that she “couldn’t stay away from the gram too long,” and posted a picture from this past weekend… ALLEGEDLY! It seems that her fans aren’t so convinced. You see, in Britney’s engagement post she had red hair under her blonde which was sort of shorter. But in her new pictures, she has longer hair which is all blonde. Britney explained in the caption she had extensions put in, but her fans are asking questions. Here’s Britney’s post-vacation post:
People wondered what was up with the sudden hair change, and her fans were in the comments section of her post and the two most recent posts of “Britney” asking questions:
“But Britney you have shorter red hair now so how could these be from your engagement getaway?”
“WHAT IS HAPPENING THESE ARE PHOTOS FROM 2 YEARS AGO.”
“This Instagram, it’s all a lie.”
“Where’s the red Britney!”
“We want a video of Britney saying she’s okay with today’s newspaper.”
Honestly, that background does not look like Palm Springs. Where are the palm trees, cactuses, and old gay men in Speedos?! But still, asking her to pose with today’s newspaper? These people know their hostage negotiating tactics. Step away from the true crime podcasts, #FreeBritney people, step away.
