Chrissy Teigen Reveals She Had Fat Removed From Her Cheeks

Important Chrissy Teigen update! The kinda-canceled social media addict got some fat sucked out of her cheeks. Rather than deny it like most celebs, Chrissy actually offered up the info unprompted on her Instagram Stories. She says she got Dr. Jason Diamond to give her that “buccal fat removal thing,” and ever since she quit drinking last fall, she’s really seen the results. Chrissy says she likes her new look and captioned her video, “no shame in my dr diamond game.” She’s right. There are many, many reasons to shame Chrissy. Being honest about cosmetic surgery isn’t one of them.

Here’s the video of Chrissy’s big reveal and some before and after photos:

Last year Chrissy got her breast implants removed. In 2017 she revealed she got liposuction in her armpits, and she recently got those same pits Botoxed to curb sweating.

So, what is “buccal fat removal”? My guess was they stuck a vacuum nozzle into Chrissy’s ears and sucked out the fat (and some brains, oops)! But, nope. According to this plastic surgery website, the surgeon makes an incision on the inside of your mouth, between your upper molars and inner cheek. Eek! Then the surgeon will apply pressure to the outside of your cheek in order to push out the “buccal fat” (the natural pad of fat that sits just underneath your cheek hollows) through the incision. So the cheek fat exits through your mouth?! NOPE. The fat comes out little by little, and then the process is repeated on your other cheek. It takes about an hour.

I’m too scared to ever get cosmetic surgery, but I would love to get rid of my jowls. After my pandemic weight gain, I’m serving up Beethoven the Dog-realness. I’d better watch my back or Debi Mazar will come a-knockin’:
