Erika Jayne Of “Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills” Is Being Sued For $25 Million

The trials and tribulations of Erika Jayne from the Real Scamwives of Beverly Hills-Adjacent continues. Erika was forced to downgrade to a $1.5 million Hollywood rental house and a Range Rover after her soon-to-be ex-husband Tom Girardi was accused of embezzling millions from the families of the victims of a plane crash, as well as from his own law firm. And Tom’s old law firm auctions off his stuff (including his alleged side piece’s lingerie) to pay off creditors, it’s Erika’s turn in the hot seat as she’s being sued for expenses paid by Tom’s firm which total $25 million. It really is XXpen$ive to be Erika Jayne because now she’s got even more legal bills to handle.
Tom’s former law firm, Girardi Keese, has been auctioning off Tom and Erika’s personal belongings to help cover Tom’s debt. Originally the onus was on Tom, who suffers from dementia and is currently under a conservatorship, to pony up all the cash as Erika has been denying her involvement with any of his money crimes. But now, TMZ is reporting that a trustee handling Girardi Keese’s bankruptcy case has found a way to hold Erika responsible for the money she owes. Apparently, during her time as a tone-deaf pop star, she reportedly spent millions of dollars on her career. And it was all handled by Tom’s firm, Girardi Keese.
According to the suit … “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star’s accused of knowingly allowing Girardi’s firm to pay for her expenses for 12 years, so the trustee now wants her to pay it all back.
The “XXPEN$IVE” singer’s company, EJ Global, allegedly used her estranged husband’s firm to cover her American Express bill, pay assistants and have a glam squad … all totaling up to the whopping $25 mil.
The trustee also admits that Erika may not have been aware of where the funds were coming from to pay for her lavish lifestyle, but who cares? Not only is she being held responsible for paying back the $25 million they want to slap some interest on that price tag as well. Page Six reports in a statement regarding Erika’s involvement the trustee basically yelled “Shame On You!” in the beautiful language of the accused; Legalese.
“Erika signed all of her tax returns, numerous credit card slips, and was well aware of the money she spent on the Debtor’s credit cards and the Debtor’s payment of her personal expenses,” the trustee alleged. “Her feigned willful blindness and ostrich approach to these expenditures will do absolutely nothing to limit her liability.”
The trustee argued that “the glam cannot be supported by a sham.”
Ouch! Well, this is the kind of thing that happens when you brag to everyone it’s expensive to be you. Erika should have made another song titled “Don’t Sue Me When He Goes To Jail!” in the event something like this happened. Piss poor planning, I tell you.
