Surprise, Surprise, OnlyFans Has Changed Its Mind On Banning Porn, For Now

In a move everyone saw coming like a chunky jizz load hitting the bottom of a shirt on a dude jacking it to OnlyFans on his phone while scrunched up in a stall in the bathroom of his office during lunch break, OnlyFans has realized that suddenly going from porn site to non-porn-site is bad for business. Not even one week ago, OnlyFans announced that starting in October, it would not allow any “sexually explicit content” on its site. This move completely fucked over (and definitely not in a sexy way) many sex workers who built that site into the $1 billion kingdom of fapping it is today. OnlyFans claims that it made the decision to become a porn-free zone “to comply with the requests of our banking partners and payout providers.”
But after some OnlyFans creators, who were blindsided by the news and make the bulk of their money from OnlyFans, shut down their accounts and moved on to other porn-friendly platforms, OnlyFans has announced that it has “suspended” that policy change. OnlyFans better brace itself, because I have a feeling that it’s going to get knocked over by its many betrayed creators running back into its arms as though they’re Khloe Kardashian and OnlyFans is Tristan Thompson saying, “Things will be different this time, baby.” And by that, I mean the opposite.
OnlyFans started in 2016 as a site where people can share pictures and videos for a subscription fee. So basically, it started as Instagram with a paywall. When the owner of the cam site, MyFreeCams, bought majority ownership of OnlyFans in 2018, it quickly proved that sex does indeed sell by becoming a place where sex workers can make money from the privacy of their own bedroom. But last year, it became clear that OnlyFans wants to go “mainstream” when Bella Thorne joined and set a record by making $1 million in 24 hours while pissing off people who subscribed to her account. They thought they were going to get pics of Bella’s titties and coochie but they did not. And just a few months ago, the barely legal Cash Me Ousside Girl (AKA Bhad Bhabie) reportedly broke Bella’s record by making $1 million in 6 hours after joining OnlyFans. Other celeb types who are on OnlyFans include Blac Chyna, Cardi B, and Tyga who announced that he’s done with OnlyFans and starting his own site, which is great news for all SUCIO fucks who get the tingles while watching Tyga wet hump someone.
Axios reports that OnlyFans has also been trying to lure in investors. But even though the site is profitable and its revenue continues to grow (it takes a 20% fee from subscriptions), it’s having a difficult time getting people to invest because of all the porn it shows. So its porn ban had to do with that as well. But yesterday, OnlyFans tweeted that it’s pressing pause on its porn ban, and the fapping can commence once again!
Thank you to everyone for making your voices heard.
We have secured assurances necessary to support our diverse creator community and have suspended the planned October 1 policy change.
OnlyFans stands for inclusion and we will continue to provide a home for all creators.

I love how they used the word “suspended.” I’m sure that everyone who left OnlyFans will go back with the threat of them pulling this shit again. And this stupid back and forth is only giving everyone a case of blueballs. This is almost more frustrating than being a teenager back in the day and waiting 4 hours for a 10-second porn clip from LimeWire to download before your dial-up cuts off because someone in the house needed to make a phone call. I said almost.
