Sandra Lee’s New Fiancé Is Still Married And His Wife’s Friends Say He’s An “Opportunist”
The former First Lady of New York and the reigning Kween of Kwanzaa, 55-year-old Sandra Lee, has a new man in her life. The New York Post reports that Sandra stepped out in the streets of Paris with her new man, actor/interfaith spiritual leader/The Express Tribune Hottie of The Week for August 11, 2013, 46-year-old Ben Youcef, earlier this month. And in the photos, Sandra is spotted with “a giant jewel” on that finger. The news just so happened to coincide with her longtime ex-boyfriend Andrew Coumo’s announcement that he would resign as Governor of NY amid multiple accusations of sexual harassment. However, before we shout “you go, girl!,” Page Six reports we might need to shout “Sandra, you in danger girl!” instead. Turns out that Sandra’s new fiance is actually still married and his wife’s friends say he’s an opportunist and is using her for fame. Whew, if there was ever a time to crack open a bottle of Hpnotiq and go to town, it’s now. No ice required!

Page Six reports that Ben’s wife, real estate broker Apryl Stephenson, recently confirmed to The Daily Mail that they are still married. Ben and Apryl share 5-year-old twins and were married in 2015. And apparently, Apryl’s friends hate Ben with a fiery passion. Have you ever tried Sandra’s recipe for a Fiery Passion? It’s two jiggers of Fireballball whiskey served in a hollowed-out passion fruit skin. Ina Garten could never!
“We are going through a divorce and I wish Ben and Sandra the best of luck. But I have nothing more to say,” Stephenson, 44, told the outlet.
But a friend spilled the beans on the tense, ongoing divorce, saying, “Ben is an opportunist. I’m sure he is loving the media attention he is getting. He craved this sort of attention for several years and now he has it. Months ago, he told people he is dating a ‘celebrity’; he was so proud to say it.
“Poor Sandra. She’s gone from a sexual predator in Andrew Cuomo to Ben, an opportunist. He has his own agenda.”
Ben doesn’t have an Instagram, only a Facebook page. So given his target demographic, Sandra absolutely is a “celebrity.” Besides, poor Sandra my ass!

The friend said that ‘Sandra has met the kids and has spent a lot of time with them. The twins really like her. They think she looks like their grandmother.’
Rude. Page Six adds that Sandra and Ben are “fuming at what they see as an attempt to smear their relationship.” They chalk up the characterization of Ben as an opportunist to jealousy.
“Sandra would never be with a man who wasn’t completely dedicated to his children and focused on their well-being,” a source told Page Six.
“Both Sandra and Ben have come from past relationships with narcissists. This is their one shot at happiness together and the jealousy factor from an ex-wife is what’s behind this.”
Obviously, we should all be jealous of Sandra, if not for her taste in men, for her taste level in just about everything else. But documents relating to Ben’s divorce and custody drama suggest that he might not be 100% completely dedicated to his kids. More like semi-dedicated. DM reports:
Court declarations filed by Apryl’s parents accused Youcef of not being a responsible parent regarding their children’s hygiene and failing to establish boundaries. They claimed he’s more of a ‘playmate’ to them than a parental figure.
Apryl’s parents accuse Ben of never brushing the kids’ hair or teeth and letting them lay around in their PJ’s all day while he sleeps in after staying up late. Which, as we now know, is par for the course for famous celebrity parents. So it sounds to me like Ben and Sandra know exactly what they’re doing. Can’t wait for their podcast honestly.
