Open Post: Hosted By A TikToker’s Pantry Full Of Fast Food That Never Expires

July 22, 2021 / Posted by:

A TikToker recently posted a video of the pantry their nutritionist mother stocked full of fast food. But the gag is, it’s non-refrigerated and the fast food still never expires. It’s meant to scare people of the dangers of processed foods, but all I see is the best pantry ever for a zombie apocalypse.

Distractify says one young TikToker posted a video that went viral all about her mom’s unique pantry. Elif Kandemir showed off her mom’s collection of fast food accumulated over the past two years. None of the food in the unrefrigerated pantry had gone bad or been attacked by bugs. In the video, Elif writes:

“This is my mum’s food cupboard – full of foods that never go off! …My mum is a nutritionist helping to tackle obesity… These foods shown here are ultra-processed foods that 80% of the UK consume on a regular basis… Still fancy that burger?”

Some in the comments suggested the lack of bugs and rot was not from a lack of health but more related to the lack of moisture content in the food products which allowed for it to keep. Others were simply horrified. In a follow-up video, Elif explained that her mom is a psychotherapist and nutritionist and that in a recent documentary it was revealed that 80% of the average diet in the UK is made up of similar processed foods.

The documentary Elif is talking about is What Are We Feeding Our Kids?. And the doctor she’s talking about is Dr. Chris Van Tulleken, who ate only “ultra-processed foods” for a month (how very Super Size Me of him) and saw his body decline; claiming the experience took 10 years off his life. Girl, then stop! He told the Telegraph:

“My libido, piles, heartburn … everything got worse. I was anxious, depressed — and it was all self-perpetuating.”

BTW “piles” is British for hemorrhoid.

Well, I guess this confirms it. Whether you like it or not, the Kardashians are going to live forever thanks to their chemical-filled and ultra-processed parts. They are the fast food of people, after all.
