Ewan McGregor And Mary Elizabeth Winstead Secretly Welcomed A Baby Together

Ewan McGregor and Mary Elizabeth Winstead got together nearly four years ago, but it didn’t end up being a big, public red-carpet courtship in the grand Hollywood tradition of two actors hooking up, and that’s because Ewan was technically married at the time. Because of this, they kept things pretty quiet. So quiet, that it was hard to figure out whether they were even technically together or not. Ewan eventually divorced his wife Eve Mavrakis, but still kept his thing with Mary Elizabeth Winstead quiet. Well, yesterday we learned that they’re together enough to have recently made a baby.

Their new baby news was confirmed on Instagram by three of Ewan’s four daughters with Eve. The 50-year-old hot Scottish daddy and the 36-year-old former Passions star (never forget Passions) welcomed a baby boy on June 26th that they’ve named Laurie.

As mentioned above, Ewan is already a father to four girls that he shares with his ex-wife Eve: Clara McGregor, 25, Jamyan McGregor, 20, Esther McGregor, 19, and Anouk McGregor, 10. This is Mary’s first child. Mary never confirmed a pregnancy and was never photographed outside looking pregnant. Ewan and Mary were seen back in November in New York City, but that would put her at a scant 2 months pregnant.

There’s probably a reason why Ewan and Mary let 3/4 of his older kids break the news of little baby Laurie, and I’m assuming it’s because neither Ewan nor Mary do social media. So it’s nice they let Laurie’s big sisters share the news. It’s also brave of them too. Because the last time Clara McGregor hopped on Instagram to share about something her father and Mary did, it ended with Clara expressing her regret over calling Mary a “piece of trash.” But they probably had nothing to worry about. It’s a baby! Who would have shit to say about a baby? Still, you know Mary was like, “Awww…can I just take a peek at the caption real quick? No no no, I totally trust you! I’m just…uh…curious. Really though – toss me the phone.
