Michael Costello Accused Of Bullying By Leona Lewis And Sexual Harassment By A Makeup Artist

It’s a circle of bullying! This latest round started after Chrissy Teigen again apologized for being a psychopath mean girl in the past. That prompted Project Runway designer Michael Costello to claim that Chrissy believed he made a racist social media post (he claimed he did not and it was Photoshopped by a disgruntled employee) and tried to get him blacklisted and wished death upon him. Time to Inception this trauma with some more layers because singer Leona Lewis believes that Michael isn’t really one to talk about bullying since he left her traumatized after refusing to dress her because of her body size. Makeup artist, Jordan Liberty, has also tapped in to claim that Michael sexually harassed him while he was going through chemotherapy treatment. Cut to Chrissy Teigen maniacally cackling.

Leona claimed in a series of Instagram Stories that back in 2014, she was asked to do a charity fashion show and Michael was supposed to dress her. Leona flew to NYC and was excited to be dressed by him, but her excitement quickly turned into disappointment when the dress she was supposed to wear was a sample size and Michael and his team didn’t really want to alter it to fit her. Michael dumped her and she didn’t walk in the show. via People:

“This came as a total surprise because weeks prior I was told that they would make the dress work for me,” she wrote. “At the next fitting, the night before the show, with no explanation at all, Michael refused to turn up. He no longer wanted to dress me and he abandoned his commitments to me and the show which made me well aware that I wasn’t the body type required.”

“Because I didn’t look like a model size, I was not permitted to walk in his dress. I had to sit in the audience and was asked by press why I didn’t walk in the show,” she continued, adding that she had to “come up with excuses as I was so humiliated by it all.”

“I feel like I was made to look as though I pulled out and was being difficult and as an affect [sic] of those actions I suffered a lot, both personally and professionally,” she continued. “The most hurtful thing is that it was to raise money for charity, and this went against everything we were trying to do.”

That experience fucked with Leona’s body image and it took her years to love her body. Leona spoke out because the “pot calling the kettle black” situation didn’t sit right with her. With that being said, Leona said she wants us all to accept apologies from everyone and learn that people can grow.

Michael defended himself on his Instagram Stories, calling Leona’s claims “bizarre” because as recently as last month, her team has asked him for dresses:

Michael then told his side of the charity dress mess. According to Michael, he didn’t refuse to dress Leona because she was too big for his designs. Michael sent dresses for her to model but none worked out and he didn’t have time to make her a custom option:

“Unfortunately none of the red options worked out for Leona. There was no way for me to make her an alternative option as I was, and still am, based in Los Angeles,” Costello said. “If we had known about the event more than 7 days in advance, which is the timeframe we had, we could have made something custom for Leona without a doubt.”

He added, “It was nothing personal towards Leona. The plan simply did not work out the way we intended. I have always offered to make something custom and special just for her. I am always here for her.”

Meanwhile, there are gross accusations against Michael coming from makeup artist Jordan Liberty of Los Angeles. BeautyNewsUK said that Jordan took to his Instagram Stories to relay a LENGTHY description of what allegedly happened to him. Saying “the gloves are off,” Jordan explained the two met while he was going through chemo treatments for cancer. Jordan said he met Michael at Coachella “for like two seconds” and then sometime later Michael slid into Jordan’s DMs about Jordan’s work as a makeup artist. Michael asked Jordan to do the makeup for his next collection and things rolled into weird sexual harassment-territory from then:

“He’s like let’s have a gathering and I made it very clear at the moment that I used to be going by means of chemo and it’s truly actually laborious for me to get round… So he needed to meet the following day at 9am at some acai bowl place downtown. And, so proper after I settle for the assembly, simply randomly he sends me like a collage of dick pics. Not like one, like a PicStitch of like a bunch of totally different angles and I’m like, is that this man for actual? I’m no prude, however can we simply normalize like, if folks ship you footage like that without your consent, that must be thought of a type of harassment or assault in and of itself as a result of ain’t no one attempting to see that.”

Jordan politely declined interest in the dick pic collage since he was busy trying not to die from cancer, and Michael then proceeded to brush him off when they were supposed to meet up and further discuss the alleged makeup work for Michael’s show.

Chrissy Teigen was called out by Courtney Stodden after Chrissy quit Twitter for the millionth time over the “negativity.” Now Michael has been called out by Leona Lewis and Jordan Liberty after he called out Chrissy Teigen. So Leona Lewis may want to lock her closet, just in case some bullied skeletons are going to pop out and say, “Well, actually, Leona…
