Khloé Kardashian Got Roasted On The Internet For Telling People To Avoid Single Use Plastics

Kourtney Kardashian is the eco-warrior of the Kardashian family, but Kourtney has been so busy being horny for Travis Barker, that someone else is going to have to pick up the slack and do the absolute least in the name of environmentalism, and that person is Khloé Kardashian. Khloé decided to do her part to fight pollution by encouraging her 152 million followers on Instagram to make the switch from bottled water to a refillable water bottle, in an attempt to reduce single waste plastics. The internet quickly reminded her that switching from Evian to tap does dick all if you’re living a massively wasteful Kardashian lifestyle everywhere else. And if only that was the only time this week someone came after Khloé for some plastic-based offenses, but it wasn’t. She’s also catching heat for looking nothing like herself in a migraine commercial.

Khloé’s water bottle drama started in a series of Instagram Stories she posted from her personal in-home gym. She explained that it’s a pet peeve of hers to see people filling up their reusable water bottles with bottled water. Khloé urged her followers to move away from single-use items. She ended her little Mother Earth tip by recommending filtered water pitchers or tap filtration attachments to make for an easy transition away from single-use waste. A nice message, if not for the dozens of pictures out there of thousand-dollar single-use balloon arcs and decorations that have been bought and thrown away by Khloé and her family at nearly every calendar holiday and life event. via The Daily Mail:

‘I’m not saying that or judging that, I’m just saying that I don’t know why we’re pouring water bottles and using … just to throw that plastic away for these jugs. So, I’m turning into Kourtney, but let’s try to save the environment for the kids.’

Twitter was set alight with commentary as users quickly called out the hypocrisy and found photos of Khloe’s affinity for massive balloon displays.

It’s true, Khloé and her family love balloons. There are never enough balloons for those clowns. And don’t even get me started on those tacky two-story inflatables that look like the most current version of their faces. Did you know that helium is the Earth’s only non-renewable resource, and we’re quickly running out of it? Do the Kardashians know this, and do they give a fuck? Don’t answer, it’s too much of a bummer.

Khloé deserved to get dragged for pushing reusable water bottles when she has literally wasted toilet paper for jokes. Not to mention that they all live in multi-thousand square foot homes with the AC jacked so high the polar bears weep, with huge lawns that require gallons of water to maintain. That’s enough reason to side-eye Khloé this week. But then the internet had more words about this Nurtec ODT migraine medicine commercial, and suddenly that water bottle conversation took a back seat.

Khloé has been honest-ish about the reality of her face and body, but she has admitted to using filters when she appears on camera, due to allegedly feeling like the not-pretty Kardashian sister. But that’s usually over on Instagram, where we’ve all generally agreed to accept that images of Khloé may not be as accurate as they appear in real life. This migraine commercial gives you a Khloé that doesn’t exactly look like Khloé, and Khloé wasn’t very happy when someone pointed that out.

A wild accusation, considering just days ago, Khloé tweeted this:

So is that what Khloé legitimately looks like for real? It’s hard to say. But Khloé is clearly dedicated to limiting her plastic use. That face in her migraine ad? That’s not new – I’m pretty sure Khloé worked that same look back in 2019. Reusing and recycling – see, she does care about waste!
